TVXQ‘s Yunho opened about his past experience with a particularly scary anti-fan.

TVXQ featured as guests on the ”young mentors” special of KBS 2TV‘s ’Story Show Do Dream‘, where Yunho discussed a terrifying incident that occurred back in 2006.

He shared, “After drinking orange juice given to me by someone I thought was a staff member, I started vomiting blood.” Yunho revealed that he didn’t expect that anything was wrong until he got sick.

At first I got angry, but when I heard that the anti-fan couldn’t stand how I laughed and talked because of [his/her] own hard life, I thought I might cause [them] harm. After that happened, I would avoid people, and when I was in a similar place or saw similar items, my heart would respond first by beating fast.”

Yunho continued, “To overcome my panic disorder, I drank up to 10 [bottles] of orange juice a day, and I felt better.”

This episode of ‘Story Show Do Dream’ will air on October 6 at 10:25PM KST.

same.

I'm also still pissed that he just let her off. I know he said he did it because she was the same age as his sister, but I'm pretty sure that if someone is old enough to know how to hurt someone like that, then they're also damn well old enough to KNOW BETTER and to take the fucking consequences >.<

GAH.

Yeah I think it's deeper than that, she actually infiltrated, posed as a member of staff and poisoned him for no good reason, bitch should be jailed.

This still bothers me today. It shocked me so bad, it woke me up to see how some people act when it comes to Kpop or idols in general. The videos of him unconscious always pop in my head when talking about things like this. It's so disturbing.

ugh, that was one of the moments that i can definitely say broke my heart as a fangirl and the first time i realized that anti-fans can be really fucking cruel. why would people want to make a hobby out of hating on people and making their lives miserable? :(

especially since i've been yunho biased ever since i got into DB5K that incident hit me hard =____=

that girl really should have faced serious consequences because i'm pretty sure that he could have died -.- yunho, you really are way too nice for your own good >.< it's one of your best and worst traits *sigh*

I understand that he let her off out of kindness, but I think this was a tough love kind of situation. Sometimes you gotta be cruel to be kind. Someone who can DELIBERATELY and with malice aforethought plot to poison someone else--someone they never met and who never did them harm--had serious issues that need to be addressed. If she gets held accountable, best case scenario she wakes up and realizes she was into some crazy shit, or she can get properly diagnosed and treated...worse comes to worse and she's dangerously unstable, she gets kept away from society.

I remember reading that afterwards she expressed no regret and said she would do it again. This is not someone who is being reformed through the power of forgiveness.

Yunho probably didn't really forgive her...

This is still so upsetting, even after so many years. And I'm glad to see that Yunho was rightly upset. It actually makes me think that SM leaned on him to not press charges and he just said he wouldn't because she reminded him of his sister. Companies do just about everything they can to enable terrorists they let fall under the umbrella term of "fan". I highly doubt he would ever want to associate her with his family members. I also think he is still angry over it, as he should be.

I feel like if he truly sympathized and forgave her his mindset would have been more self depreciating. Either that or he would be taking a more religious angle, but he's not. It just doesn't add up.
-end conspiracy theory-

it's not a stretch to believe that he forgave her. many people say positive things about him as a person, so it's not a surprise if he has a good heart and is forgiving person. remember that he had every right to press charges and that SM had, actually, initially wanted to press charges against her. he forgave her against company orders.

his friends, especially the DBSK members and others like Heechul, were visibly furious and outspoken about the incident. if SM had wanted to look good and saintly they wouldn't let any of their SM idols speak about the incident.

i'm just kind of side eyeing you for doubting everything he says when nothing he does contradicts his statements.

yunho you are too nice for your own good sometimes :( it's so sad to hear that he's still traumatized by the incident after all these years, but of course that it is a very horrifying incident to deal with.

also i remember that there have been fan accounts saying that yunho never drinks from a water bottle given to him by a stranger/staff he's never met before. he will apparently accept it to be nice but will just hold it. it's only when changmin comes up to him and gives him water that he'll drink it.

This story will forever upset/sicken/sadden me (as it should). She attempted MURDER. How does she get away with it simply because he won't press charges? HOW? This chick was/is seriously disturbed, and to even say she'd do it again if she could. She felt absolutely no remorse. They should've locked her up and thrown away the key. :(

The girl had to move out of Seoul because she was getting death threats and couldn't leave her house. Her personal information and pictures were leaked and she was banned from working in any job related to TV stations. But Yunho asked the fans to stop it and leave her alone, so fans made a huge effort to just forget about her and stop any type of comments or attacks on the girl :| ...

Yeah Yunho is just too kind tbh, lol.

oh dude I remember that episode.

It was really scary and fandom was going nuts. Watching the fancams and pictures of his manager and Yoochun holding him and hurrying to get him in the car was so heartbreaking.

The fanacounts and the members' reaction was horrible because he was vomiting blood and convulsing. People said it looked as if he was dying ;-; *omgknockonwoodx3*.

And he went back a couple days later to finish the recording of Heroine 6. I still have such a hard time watching the second part of that show, it's just really awkward and brings really sad memories :(.

When he spoke with the culprit and forgave her I wanted to smack his noble, warmth, golden heart tbh, I was so upset tbh! he's just too kind sometimes, he ends up being borderline dumb and people take advantage of him :| ...

Gosh, I still remember every little detail like it was yesterday, it really made a huge impact in me I guess.

You know it can be a blessing in disguise for him to be so forgiving towards the anti. If she has any conscious left, she will probably haunted with the guilt until she dies bcos yunho did nothing back to her. That could be the worst punishment people can have, i guess it's similar when you expect your mum to be angry only to have that "i;m not angry but disappointed kind of thing.
