Former H.O.T. member Tony An reminisced back to the ‘bloody fight’ between fans of H.O.T and Sechskies.

During an interview on tvN‘s ‘Baek Ji Yeon’s People Inside‘ that took place on the 2nd, Tony An recalled a past story and said, “I saw the fans [H.O.T. and Sechskies] hitting each other with umbrellas, and honestly, I was a bit frightened.” The ‘battle’ had taken in front of the theater where the Golden Disk ceremony had occurred.

He also discussed forming JTL after H.O.T disbanded. With the mains vocals H.O.T., Kangta and Moon Hee Jun out of the group, they received much criticism for attempting to produce any songs without proper vocals.

He stated, “I felt the name H.O.T would be ridiculed if we broke down there. I thought that the three of us should work hard just for the sake of the name.”

He has now become a record producer, started his own label (TN Entertainment), and has even finished his enlistment duties. He said, “I have to make a lot of money because of the staff that stayed with me for over 10 years.” He also talked about SMASH, a group that he produced. He teared up and said, “I really want them to do well. They’re very diligent, good kids. I’m ashamed that I thought of giving up on them even once.“

Glad to see that Tony isn't giving up on SMASH. But what ever happened to the other idol group he was gonna produce?

Can I know where do you download the drama? All the drama sites that I used to download didn't offer the drama anymore. Since everyone said the story is awesome, I wanted to know whether it is really true or not..

I hope this (http://forum.indowebster.com/showthread.php?t=321881&p=20073456&viewfull=1#post20073456) could help you? Some of the regular (?) download links may get localized to my country (so idk if it's accessible from other country) but the torrents should just work fine, I guess? It also has a lot of alternatives, from HD to medium quality etc. Well then good luck ^^;;

When Heejun hurt his back, one girl was SO DISTRAUGHT that she killed herself.

Truth.

I downloaded this biography on HOT which was in English, but aired, I think on... whatever the English channel in South Korea is (the one with Pops in Seoul, I think), and they said that when Heejun hurt his back during a performance and that one fan offed herself because the fans were going batshit.

Fans back then were as crazy as today. The things that HOT accomplished were really phenomenal that it really makes me wonder why SM didn't keep them together -- their fifth album was successful and I always wondered why can't they offer the same contract to the other members too. >.>

Their fifth album had Outside Castle, aka: best song ever. EVER.

But SM is... well... SM. I mean, they were able to keep Heejun for a little while, and then they tanked with him (although part of that was his own fault for trying to repackage himself as a rocker when people were like 'bitch, you were singing Candy 5 years ago. Stop!), and despite the fact that Kangta is pretty much the goose that laid the foundation of SM, they've been pretty shitty to him, too.

H.O.T got many awesome songs tbh. Yes, they have crazy fans but they released good music to back up with all the supports they get from the fans & media.

Heejun made a mistake for turning into a rocker but that's his real passion so I doubt he feels he made a mistake when he made that decision. How is he now? Did he live a comfortable live as a former idol legend or is he struggling with his life now? I see him on certain shows but it didn't actually serve him right with all great things he did in the past.

Don't mention Kangta. I was so pissed at the way SM treat him and he still remains loyal. ;_; MBC even cut his part in the SM family concert that they aired recently. How a disgrace to him and his fans. I actually watched the whole con just to watch his part only to be disappointed in the end. :( Didn't he write or compose anymore? I missed his ballads..

watch fancam! kangta still sounds and dance as good as ever :D
i watched smtown ina and crazily shouting ahnchilhyun2 (alone -_-) during his performance
i assume he's more involved in sm's business rather than music? he said that he's always abroad (us/china) that he forgot he's korean, lol

The last I heard from Heejun, isn't he just going by with participating in some shows here and there? Is there a show he's a regular on?

I know that he got a lot of harassment from Kim Gura back in the day. Apparently on his radio show he would not only talk back about Heejun, but hurt his family as well. It was on tv where Kim Gura was filmed personally meet Heejun face to face to apologize, but Heejun still can't forgive him from the all the depression and mental distress he brought.

Heejun had it hard going rocker that I just want him to be a hit and show SM

i was already into k-pop back then so remember those fights. I'm surprised he doesn't remember the one from Dream concert. All the hair pulling, throwing things at each other and stuff.

Also I wonder if he talked about how tough JTL had it back then with SM trying to block them. And how pissed he was at KangTa. Probably not.

'With the mains vocals H.O.T., Kangta and Moon Hee Jun out of the group, they received much criticism for attempting to produce any songs without proper vocals.'

I beg to differ since When Did Your Heart Stop Loving Me is a really awesome song that I keep listening to it even until now. Tony An is a good singer and I wish he will start releasing his solo stuffs again -- something like Yutzpracachia to be exact. :)
