i bet yg/yge marketing team probably did honestly. it seems to be their new strategy. throwing in the newbies with the established as we saw with g-dragon. won't be surprised if more collabs or features happen with yge debuts coming the next two months haha.

This has always been YG strategy though. (Also strategy used by lots of American record labels.) Seems to work pretty well.

Probably, though as Se7en's 24/7 that included this song was released in March 2006 and Big Bang debuted in August 2006, there is a chance YG and YB had already agreed on Taeyang.
