MTE! and lbr Hwayoung would've sounded like shit in Japanese (in addition to her wheezing) if the whole scandal never happened and she was doing that rap rn everyone would still be commenting abt how terrible it is
iirc people were saying how good of a rapper she was when day by day came out though tbh i've moved on (and it's strange how quickly, too) and it seems like most people don't care anymore funny how things come and go in waves
I definitely don't think she was bad but I feel like the rap in the Japanese version would've been a big downgrade no matter who was doing it (just like all their other Japanese songs) lol
I've lost a bit of interest since Sexy Love promotions started but it's mostly b/c shinsadong tiger's songs get old for me fast now. I'm counting on Dani to save us all
Still have a weak spot for this song, but I like the Korean version better. But if I had to choose between Day by Day and Day & Night, I would chose the latter ~
