JYP denies rumors of Wonder Girls Sun’s marriage

JYP Entertainment has denied rumors that Sun of the Wonder Girls is getting married.

A representative from the agency stated, “The marriage rumors are not true. At the moment, there are absolutely no plans of marriage. [The Wonder Girls] are putting all their effort into their Asia tour.”

Sun previously made her relationship public on SBS‘ ‘Strong Heart‘ late last year. She also mentioned on ‘Beatles Code 2‘ that she would be willing to move to Haiti for her Korean-American boyfriend, who is currently doing missionary work in the country, if the two marry.

However, it looks like fans won’t have to worry about her moving to an island anytime soon.

yeah but i think she's engaged though. if you notice she's been wearing the same center stone ring for like 5 months on that ring finger, the only time she doesn't wear it is when it's a photoshoot. it's either a promise ring or an engagement ring

Wasn't there some blind item that a girl group member has become engaged recently and the Agency doesn't know. People were saying it was Bom but Sunye is a more plausible choice.

yes, I don't really know if the blind item is about her or not because i don't remember when It came out, but after i read it i started noticing this ring. she started wearing it in june, which is consistent with her bf's visit to korea. just my observations, it might just be a coincidence.

Sunye and her boyfriend James tweeted earlier also denying the rumors. Sunye said something to the extent about how she publicly announced that she was dating so if anything big like that would happen, she would publicly announce it as well. I believe she would tell her fans if she's getting married.
I'm sure she and James are gonna get married if things continue the way they are. Who knows when that will be.

Personally I would be happy for her if this was true, after all the losses the girl has suffered it would be nice if she starts a family on her own

but yeah, i doubt she would jump ship after all this time
