they recently performed at the DMC Culture Open Concert 

their company is keeping quiet about why they did the change and according to one of their tumblr fansite the other members might have a gag order which doesn't let them talk/announced that they officially been removed from the group.

 

they also apparently will have a new song out soon 






Dasom dyes her hair and looks like complete different person


Dasom recently also tweeted this which might or might not be about whats going on 
which i think it is because she gave up debuting in evol and yg new girl group allegedly 



posting this because i haven't seen it posted and i think it should because it shows that tahiti had potential and didn't need to be auto tune to hell and back

To be fair, both kara (sunghee T_T) and wonder girls had member changes early (and later, actually) in their career... though this kind of turnover is a lot for a group of any size. >.> (I always found it kind of funny that snsd, of all groups, managed to keep their original post-debut lineup, but I guess it must be a combination of SM's persistence and slave contracts....) If they're going to make member changes, it may as well be right after they've failed to make an impact. I don't know if it's better to pretend to start over with a new name (throwing away any incremental progress you've made with any one who gives a damn) or just change up the existing group (feels like a snub to the existing fans anyway). Either way the message is that the fans that liked them as they were are inadequate. \O/

But Kara and WG are under DSP and JYP. They're not total nugus like all the other groups switching members right now. Their companies are well-known and established in the industry. It was just a matter of time for both groups to succeed, though it took Kara a longer time.

You know, going forward with a lineup that failed to make an impact = doing the same thing expecting a different result = one definition of insanity. Arguably, if no one knew their names in the first place, you might as well switch them out before enough ppl actually learn them. XD

Basically, I don't think their shameful beginnings would really count against them if they get the right song/actually are stronger live performers. Alternatively, if one of the members is an actress that manages to get onto a popular drama. (Personally, I think this is the best bet.)

(WG doesn't really count since they were popular to start with, buuuut I still think Kara does. Oh, I guess After School is an ok example, since Pledis really only had Son Dambi before them, no?)

(Randomly, how does T-ara's CEO have so much power within the industry when no1curr about any of his acts? I mean, SeeYa and Davichi were/are genuinely talented, but they don't seem to have much star power. And obviously the CEO was important before T-ara was... does he just own a lot of stock in other companies or something?)
