Joo Won Says He and Uee Almost Became a Real Couple!!!!

KBS drama “Bridal Mask” star Joo Won says that he and “Ojakgyo Brothers” love interest Uee could have been a couple in real life following their roles in 2011-2012 KBS drama “Ojakgyo Brothers.” 

On September 21, “Bridal Mask” star Joo Won sat down for an interview with newspaper “Ilgan Sports” and talked about various subjects such as hallyu stars avoiding “Bridal Mask” for fear of backlash in Japan, performing his own action scenes, feelings for co-stars, and who he would choose in ideal type world cup.   Joo Won was also asked about what it was like to act with Uee.  

On “Ojakgyo Brothers” love interest Uee, Joo Won: “As I saw myself falling deeper into my character’s feelings [for Uee], I saw that in real life also, I developed a curiousity about Uee.  At that time, in that situation, if just one of the two of us had made up our minds and made a dash towards the other, we could have been a real-life couple.  [laughs]”

srsly, i do think he is close and a good friends with her, and i get why he chose her as the most important female lead he had still now (she was the female lead of his first drama as the lead), but he did mention his happiest time filming was on OJB and he was all "oh me and uee got really close, we could have dated, she is really pretty, we had feelings.... but i totally prefer seo yeon, she is my ideal!!11!".

i bet that pledis keeps cockblocking them.

dating bans were never mentioned in pledis, however uee is their biggest star, by far she is the one who brings the biggest income (way bigger than any other pledis member, even dambi, could dream of) and more awareness to the company, i mean, she is pretty huge in korea.

so out of the company her image is something pledis probably wants to protect the most, her having a boyfriend makes fanboys and fangirls get mad and sad and make her lose support, as a singly woman who keeps the fantasy alive, she is worth more.

srsly, i may be a delusional stan, but both of their actions and words keeps betraying them.

i am dying to see his hyungs mocking him because of that, JCW being a kbs drama they'll probably talk and promote it alot in the show like they did with equator man and gaksital, so i'm hoping that taehyun will mock joo won because he is stealing his wife, and the other members will mock taehyun for being her height XD.

also i can only hope that oneday she'll appear on the show.

I was watching one of the early episodes of 1N2D with Joo Won, and the boys were calling actresses and female idols they knew and asking who they liked the most. I was DYING for Joo Won to call Uee, but he didn't. Actually I don't think he called anyone... sigh.

Ooooo! They could do an actress special again, or I suppose a female idol special, and have Uee come on in promo of the drama, and then there would be lots of awkward shenanigans with her and Joo Won and Taehyun. :D Heeeee.

lmao of her calling JSY as a bear. xD;; I kind of understand him though, of course he adores UEE I mean everyone can see that but he chose JSY because of her bright & happy personality. JSY did smile the whole time behind the scene and truthfully, I can see many people like her because of her humble & happy-go-lucky personality.

But what strike me the most while watching Gaksital BTS is how much Han Chae Ah totally adores Joo Won. The way she describe him and how she talk about him make you see how much she actually like him irl! :D

Uee doesn't open up as far as I can see and her and Joo Won were so friendly, bantering and flirting with each other. And just smiling at each other all the time. Clearly they had feelings for each other but as Uee said on Happy Together I think it was that she's an idol and Pledis won't let her.

yeah, uee is someone that is quite reserved and doesn't make friends easily, hence why her quick bond with joo won was something very out of character. plus the on and off screen flirting was always too obvious, if in a scene someone else was the main person and they were in the background they were always touching.
