Seo In Gook’s Drama “Rascal Sons” Releases New Posters
The new MBC weekend drama “Rascal Sons” released its new posters in anticipation of its premiere on the weekend. “Rascal Sons,” top-billed by Lee Sung Jae, Ryu Soo Young and “Answer Me 1997” breakout star Seo In Gook revolves around the story of three sons of the Yoo family.
The posters revealed provide a glimpse into the relationships of the characters in the drama, including the pairs and the other members of the family. The publicity materials also portray a light tone, with the characters playing with toys.
Local news agencies reported a staff member present at the shoot as saying, “It was awkward at first to be playing around on set, but soon it came out pleasant.”
The drama is expected to show the meaning of love among the family, and the different kinds of love relationships as two of the sons are married while one is divorced.
“Rascal Sons” premieres on September 22.

Seo In Gook is Worried About How Viewers Will Take New Playboy Role in “Rascal Sons”
On September 18, cast members Lee Sung Jae, Ryu Soo Young, Seo In Gook, Myung Se Bin, Han Hye Rin, Yoon Se In, and Shin Da Eun participated in the press conference for MBC’s new weekend drama “Rascal Sons.” MBC drama “Rascal Sons” follows the ups and downs of a family of three sons with the eldest son Yoo Hyun Gi played by Lee Sung Jae, middle son Yoo Min Gi played by Ryu Soo Young, and youngest son Yoo Seung Gi played by Seo In Gook.
Talking about the difference in his role as Yoon Yoon Jae in tvN drama “Answer Me 1997” and his role as Yoo Seung Gi in MBC drama “Rascal Sons,” Seo In Gook said: “As opposed to thinking of the role as Yoon Yoon Jae who is unable to express his emotions, I think of Yoon Yoon Jae as a person who is honest to his emotions. Yoon Yoon Jae always showed his feelings towards Sung Si Won. My new role [of Yoo Seung Gi] is also of a person who is really honest. The only difference in the roles is their preferences.”
Seo In Gook continued: “To put it simply, Yoon Yoon Jae loves only one person, and Yoo Seung Gi has different love morals. Actually, I’m a bit afraid of what viewers will approach my new role.”
In “Answer Me 1997,” Seo In Gook played the character of Yoon Yoon Jae who was the top student in his high school and eventually graduated from Seoul National University’s Law School and became one of the youngest judges in the nation. Yoon Yoon Jae was completely head over heels for his childhood friend Sung Si Won, and, after many years, Yoon Yoon Jae finally gets together with his first love Sung Si Won.
In “Rascal Sons,” Seo In Gook plays the character of Yoo Seung Gi who is a professional golf teacher and marries in his early twenties to Park Mi Rim. But, though he does not cheat on her at the beginning, playboy Yoo Seung Gi does cheat and the two divorce after less than three years of marriage. Yoo Seung Gi leaves his young son to his ex-wife Park Mi Rim to take care of and acts as if he is a single bachelor. Eventually, Yoo Seung Gi gets caught by Han Song Hui and becomes enthralled by her.

Seo In Gook Channels a Rebel Without a Cause in “Nylon”
Photographs featuring “Answer Me 1997” star Seo In Gook in a photo shoot for fashion magazine “Nylon” have been released. Seo In Gook is without a doubt the “it” actor of the moment to channel angst-ridden rebel without a cause James Dean.
The photo shoot displayed Seo In Gook’s masculinity in a powerful way and the concept was to show off his wild untamed charisma.
Seo In Gook made his acting debut earlier this year with KBS spring drama “Love Rain” to little fanfare. But, after landing his first lead role of Yoon Yoon Jae in tvN summer drama “Answer Me 1997,” the overwhelming public response to the show’s well-written story lines and the amazing acting of the ensemble cast shot Seo In Gook into hot actor territory.
About the sudden image change during this photo shoot, Seo In Guk had no problem. “I like strong concepts,” said the singer turned actor. He said he enjoyed being able to show a manlier side to him.
On his appearance on tvN’s Reply 1997, Seo In Guk says he’s screaming in happiness these days due to all the love and support being poured on him.

On this day, about the compliments that he is receiving for his acting skills, Seo In Gook stated, "singing and acting, is like my left hand and right hand," and he showed his passion for work.
Seo In Gook was also asked a question about the tvN drama, 'Reply 1997.' He stated, "I didn't know I would receive this much love, with the character, Yoon Yoon Je. Everyday is happy and fun."

Seo In Guk‘s ’90 degree folder bow’ has been captured.

He's living proof that fame doesn't really start with winning a show like Superstar K, it only is the beginning of the road to fame. And it doesn't only take talent and hard work to become a star, it also takes a lot of luck and for him that was getting the lead in such a well-made drama as Reply 1997. I can't wait to see how his future releases (songs, albums) will do after his breakthrough as an actor...! His voice is so amazing, I hope he'll get to establish himself as one of the major solo artists in Korea one day.
