Date: 2012-09-18 02:18 am (UTC)it was quite obvious that the final couple changed because of the korean fans love towards samdong and the pairing, i mean just looking at the unreleased scenes from the drama, you find a bunch of romantic jingook and hyemi scenes and none from hyemi and samdong.
i think that they wanted samdong to be this tragic hero who doesn’t get the girl but gets the dream, but they coped out and they him the girl too even if for a while.

Hyemi won't sing the sad song nor giving the sad & lonely speech if both of the possibilities are possible. Through her speech, we know that they didn't contact each other nor in a relationship and it's so apparent that she is still in love with him so her getting back with JG is close to zero.
They could make the ending better by showing Sam Dong's happy face or having him read some message/sms from his friends before his grand performance (showing that he is not lonely at the top). Or they can make Hye Mi made a less lonely speech (but a positive speech instead) before she sing the sad song... :(
