A Very Special Date with SHINee Awaits You!
To celebrate KBS World’s HD conversion, KBS World prepared another special event for international KBS World lovers! <World Date with SHINee>
We are looking for 7 LUCKY international KBS World viewers to join in the program! The winner will have fun dates with Key and Jonghyun of “SHINee” for 3 days and 2 nights in Korea! Plus, the winners will get a chance to appear on KBS World TV.
For the final winners, KBS World offers:
- Special date with “SHINee” and a guest K-pop star (3 days and 2 nights)
- Appearance on KBS World Program <World Date with SHINee>
- Round-trip air tickets to Korea, Travelers Insurance
- Accommodation, transportation and meals while staying in Korea for the filming (5 days and 4 nights)
* We also prepared special gifts for the final dropouts
Filming Schedule in Korea:
- 2012 October 28 ~ 2012 November 1 (5 days and 4 nights)
Eligibility Criteria:
<Basic Qualifications>
- KBS World viewer, over the age of 19 (born before Dec. 31, 1993), who can trip abroad without the parents’ consent.
- KBS World viewer who has a valid passport and no disqualification to travel overseas.
- KBS World viewer who can communicate in English or in Korean.
- KBS World viewer who loves Korea and Korean culture.
* Since this event is for international KBS World viewers, non ethnic Korean viewers will get priority. *
<Preferential Point>
- Viewer with special talents (Eg> Dancer, Artist, Model, Instrument player, Martial artist, etc.)
Consolation Prizes for the final dropouts
- Autographed SHINee’s 4th Mini album “Sherlock” + LG Bluetooth Earphones/ LG External USB Hard Drives
How to participate:
We will pick the winners through various contests in different countries!
1> The first event is “KBS World & I”
This is for the international KBS World viewers in the countries except Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam and Indonesia.
Viewers in those countries above skip this part, go find the buttons of your country below, and get the details.

Find KBS World in your country! Take a picture with a thing that represents KBS World! Or take a picture that shows your love for KBS World! Be creative,
witty and think out of the box!
Kinda hard to get a grip? Here are the examples!
Eg.1> Make a placard that says “KBS World” and take a picture of you with the picket in a symbolic place of your city or country.
Eg.2> Take a tour of your city. Find the alphabet K, B, S, W, O, R, L and D and make a collage.
Eg.3> If you live near the beach, write down “I LOVE KBS World” on the beach and take a picture with it.
How to Submit:
- Download the application form
- Email us your completed application form and 3 pictures at kbsworlddate@gmail.com
1) Full face picture
2) Full length picture
3) Mission picture - <KBS World & I>
Please note that,
-The person in the pictures should be the applicant itself.
-There should not be a photo retouching/correction.

hmmmm, next week i am going to the redwood national forest on holiday with my mom...i think i would be too embarrassed to ask my mom to take a photo of me holding up a KBS sign (and then explaining to her that i want to go on a korean reality tv show).
