I don't get what people see in Krystal. It is not that I think she is ugly, she is far from that, but she is so... blant. If I could describe her with an ice cream flavor, she would be the most basic vanilla in the store.

I am not saying that her being vanilla is negative or that I am baffled about it. I just mean that I don't get people who are like: OMG SHE IS SO AMAZING, FANTASTIC AND GORGEOUS. She looks like every other girl I could see walking down the street. I guess I'm so used to Korean idols having something different or special, that seeing her makes her look so extremely vanilla to me.

idk if i'm using the english language incorrectly, but to me if you don't 'get something' you are indeed baffled about it. i was saying that i don't share the same sentiments you do and that praising krystal (even if she seems ordinary) is something i don't find puzzling. i can find people 'ordinary' (they don't really have something unique in them that makes them particularly stand out from the rest) and yet think of them as 'amazing, fantastic, gorgeous' at the same time. that's because imo, all of their 'simple' qualities mesh well together and present a nice picture overall.
