On the very special occasion that 2PM visiting Thailand this time, 2PM-online.com and Khunstar.com did have a chance to meet and interviews 6 boys from the group; JaeBoem, JunSu, TaecYeon, WooYoung, JuHo and ChanSung. Since Nichkhun was not feeling well that morning so he went to see the doctor. Thanks to Sony Music Thailand that gave us a special occasion and cooperation so that we could have a conversation with 2PM at Dusit Thani hotel.
This is a good supporting for our working team to work for 2PM and their fans more. (The questions in this interview came from both websites)
We met the boys in the morning. Before the boys came, we found that many press agents from TVs, radios and newspapers including websites were cueing to interview with them. This phenomenon can guarantee about their rapidly increased popularity, comparing to their previous visit.
6 of them came into the interview room in the white-gray tone of ‘I Hate You’ costume. The most cheerful boys seemed to be WooYoung. JuHo showed his wink smile while TaecYeon expressed wide smile like always. JaeBeom still had some running nose and wearing mask before giving the interview because he got flu before coming to Thailand. Although JaeBeom was sick, he still shown the spirit of the leader participated in activities with the group all day. JunSu and ChanSung also gave us sleepy smiles so we guessed that they were not in a fully awaken mode. (**So pity that we didn’t brought some bananas to gave to ChanSung so as to boost up his enegy)
After a loud and clear greeting in Thai “Sawasdee krub, we are 2PM krub,” we introduced our websites to them and quickly got feedback from Jaebeom that he also used to visit our page. Then our conversation began as follow.
2PM-online: Have you ever notice that there is a rapid increasing of 2PM huge admiration and popularity among Thai fans and international fans? How do you feel about this?
2PM: Actually, before coming here we haven’t got any clue that there are lots of fans who follow our work this much but we would like all of you to keep on track with our works and performances and we will keep trying our best.
2PM-online: we have seen your newest official MV, Hate You (from youtube.com), and found that during the practices, there are some mistakes and injures. So when you guys feel tired and depressed, how would you deal with it to so as to cheer up yourselves?
2PM: sometimes when we face with miserables and difficulties, we all try to think positively. Among 7 of us, we usually cheer up and comfort each other and encourage ourselves to think of several good things.
2PM-online: On your visiting Thailand this time, have you brought anything new for your fans here?
2PM: We have our new album and a mini concert for fans which includes the performance of ‘Again and Again’ and ‘I Hate You’ which we haven’t performed in Thailand before.
2PM-online: Are you feeling any excited in occasion to meet Thai Prime Minister this afternoon?
2PM: we are so honored because such this exclusive opportunity doesn’t happen so often.
2PM-online: Due to presenting as the delegates for the campaign ‘I LOVE THAILAND’ so which place in Thailand that you want to visit the most?
2PM: Phuket, because the sea and beach is very beautiful. (**When we mentioned whether it was where Khun just visit or not, they suddenly objected that Khun just went there alone but they haven’t been there yet. We think that they must have remembered Phuket well in their memory before come to Thailand.)
2PM-online: Talk about the international popularity, right now Wonder Girl, another colleague groups in JYP, has started working in the USA and 2PM also receives a massive popularity among the international K-POP stream including Thailand, so every programs and performances that you have participated in have been translated and subbed into Thai, English and even Spain. Have you ever check your rating on this?
2PM: we are very surprises to see a lot of fans following us. When we go out for dinner yesterday, we saw a fan holding a cheering board with Woo Young’s alias ‘U-dong’ (name of a Japanese noodle) that made us surprised very much.
2PM-online: Thai fans also know all 2PM alias as well as Korean fans, for example Leader Ja (Jae Beom) OkDaeLee (Taec Yeon) (**all the boys laugh very loudly, especially WooYoung smiled with his cheeks up) and Maknae Bear (Chansung). 2PM really receive wide popularity here. (**Actually we’re really happy because we will see 2PM in Thailand more often)
2PM-online: Let’s talk about the TV program like Idol Show that made people known 2PM even more. Will we have a chance to watch such programs again?
2PM: Recently we have joined many programs in Korea and will try to be presented on the TV shows as much as we can.
2PM-online: There’s an interesting question from subbing team Madam2PMsubs asking whether where was 2PM member No.8? (**all boys seem to show curious faces) We mean Mr. Boom? (**Because in almost every Korean programs the boys visit, they usually appear with Boom, who is one of the famous Korean MC. Sometimes he even introduces himself as Boom 2PM. He’s very funny and energetic. Nichkhun also said once that he would like to be funny as Boom so as to make everybody laugh.)
2PM: (**the moment they found that we meant Boom, they laughed out loud.) When we were just new idols and went to the show previously, we felt very excited and nervous on what we were going to say. But Boom was taking a good care of us and gave us lots of suggestions. (**we also would like to express our thanks to Mr.Boom as he taking care of our beloved 2PM as well.)
2PM-online: What have you planed for the next album? Since 2PM looks have changed from the naughty and energetic boys to be the calm men in this present album, so what’s the next concept?
2PM: right now we are trying to promote our present single ‘I Hate You’ so we would like to do our best to perform on this song. About next album, we are still working on it so we cannot actually tell anything specifically.
Time flew away so fast. Before ending our conversation, the boys showed us Wai – the way of greeting in Thai – and said ‘Kob-Khun-Krab’ – Thank you in Thai. Their loud and clear voice showed us their enthusiastic energy that fully packed inside them.
