Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung has been chosen as the official model for the cosmetics brand, LLang.

LLang is a masstige [Editor's note: prestige items that are attainable] red ginseng makeup brand from KGC Life Gene.

A LLang staff member stated, “We chose Sooyoung as we felt that her bright, lively image suited the brand’s image well.” They showed their anticipation by adding, “She will become the new K-beauty that not only Korean women in their 20′s-30′s will relate to, but women all over the world.”

Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung filmed for two days on August 27-28th and caused the staff members around [the set] to admire her lively, moist skin through LLang’s newest product, Red Gene Magic Oil. She also received praise from the staff members after she showed her bright smile and passion throughout the long shoot.

CFs for LLang products will begin airing on television in the middle of September.

my Queen ;;

I've been using the Lioele Beyond the Solution BB Cream (http://www.koreaseller.com/001_Cosmetics/015_lioele/beyond-the-solution-bb/lioele-beyond-the-solution-bb-cream-50ml_01.jpg) lately and I love it so much. It's light, so it doesn't really cover up any pimples or spots that I have (I don't usually get acne, thank goodness), but it blends really nicely with my skintone.
The other BB cream I use is Skin Food Aloe Sun BB Cream (http://wonderfulwortelworld.files.wordpress.com/2009/08/skinfood-aloe-bb-cream-spf20-pa.png%3Fw%3D510) and it smells so good! It's a little heavier and a little darker, which is nice because after time in the sun and at the beach, it matched my skin tone perfectly.

Oh and girls you have to try out Holika Holika's Magic Pole Mascara, it's divine and which false lashes do you prefer ? So far I've tried out Diamond Lash and Dollywink

I finally found the perfect bb creams for my Indian complexion and they're Japanese brands, so if there are any medium to darker beige people around here, I definitely recommend Hado Labo's BB Moist Cream (Natural Beige or Natural Ochre) and Kanebo's Coffret D'Or Fast Beauty Foundation UV BB Cream (#02 or #03).

All thanks to this super helpful post: http://suelynn76-beautyblog.blogspot.com/2011/05/bb-creams-blemish-balms-for-darker-skin.html

Try Maybelline Dream Matte powder, or the Almay Skin Stays Clean powder...they're both great and have a range of shades that work. I'm also a fan of the Physician's Formula Face Aid if you want a translucent powder.

I bought my first bb cream a couple of weeks ago, it's the Super Plus Triple Functions BB Vital Cream (http://www.skin79northamerica.com/catalogue/detail/28-bb-cream/flypage/167-super-plus-triple-functions-bb-vital-cream-40g?sef=hcfp) from SKIN79 but I'm having some issues with my T-zone, especially between my eyebrows. The bb cream seems to peels off? Just like when you have awfully dry skin and peels off, ok the same but with bb cream lol.

So I'm wondering if my skin is not hydrated enough for the bb cream :/

I wash my face with Kiehl's Blue Herbal treatment, which so far, has been AMAZING ; A;

This isn't a bb cream question, but I have oily blemish prone skin. Sometimes though I'll get dry patches here and there so basically I'm looking for a moisturizer that will help with the patches but isn't too heavy.

I'm assuming I might need a more gentle cleanser as well, ugh.

I have an oily forehead and nose and normal cheeks, and I use Boscia Revitalizing Black Hydration Gel all over my face. It's really good with oil control and hydrates dry spots. It takes a couple of weeks to notice the difference, but it really works. I didn't notice how well it was working until I switched to a new moisturizer for a few weeks (trying to save money) and noticed my forehead/nose getting oily again.

I don't know about them testing on animals (sorry!) but if you're willing to pay more, it is worth it.

For me, the lacome one lasted forever too even though it was in a glass bottle.

My skin has been acting up on me lately. Pimples which lead to scarring since I just CAN'T keep my fingers off. Has anyone tried any nice Korean (or non-Korean, for that matter) skin products that help? I feel like Korea could have some good acid, volcanic, gold, semen or bird poop products.

I got the Urban Decay Book of Shadows IV and I think it's the best toy I've bought all year! So many colors to play with!

Has anyone tried the Maybelline Color Tattoo eyeshadows yet? I saw them and was a bit skeptical...

Urban Decay eye shadows are some of my all-time favorites ♥

I picked up several of the tattoo shadows a while back and I have mixed feelings about them - the color payoff was fantastic, but they basically disappeared into thin air after several hours. I've found that wearing an eyeshadow primer (I use UD Primer Potion) helps extend the color wear drastically, but they're still not something I find myself reaching for very often :(

My friend got me a bunch of Philosophy lip shines in "Candy Apple" (my favorite!), "Have A Cherry Christmas", "Pumpkin Spice Muffin", and "Candy Ribbons", and they smell and taste SOOOOO amazing! I love them, but I'd never buy them for myself because they're a bit pricy and have no pigment, but if you're into smell and taste, they are AWESOME!
