watching her perform no. 1 made me so happy and kind of sad at the same time. it's weird, but that song just exudes a kind of innocence that she could only really pull off at fifteen and sixteen (not to say that she isn't great now--she's just different), and it really makes me feel SO old that i was a fan when that came out. that said, it's amazing to see how much she's mastered her art; those dance moves are a cakewalk compared to what she was doing for only one, and it was funny to see them side by side, haha.
She's so beautiful and talented. As far as lives go, my favorite was the Sketchbook version of Only One, because she played with the vocals like the flawless star that she is, but I loved them all. I also am very happy she sang Stand By, given that it is the only ballad I've heard her perform live, it has a special place in my heart. I will die a happy, happy man when she sings Don't Know What to Say live, though. Make it happen, BoA!!!
Side note: Brian finally tweeted her about Only One. Ah, my Kpop OTP.
It's so nice to watch her (or any other artist) performances without fanchants! Audience is clapping, dancing, singing quietly and really having fun;] This is how you enjoy music and show support for a singer, not by screaming and chanting as if you were in the army or at the football match.
