It has been exactly 12 years since BoA debuted in Korea!
On August 25th, the singer updated her Twitter page with a message for fans that read, "Today’s the day of my 12th anniversary since my debut.. Wow… A year flies like a bullet, but thank you so much for congratulating me every year.. Although it’s hard to actually grasp the fact that it’s been however many years, I’ll always be a singer who returns with the best music and performance.. Thank you so much!!"
Later, she tweeted "Cakes for my 12th anniversary!! Aung~~ There are BoA and Pororo cakes.. Uhing Thank you ^^ Kkyao~~"
BoA made her official debut on August 25th, 2000 with ‘ID; Peace B'. Despite debuting at a young age of 13, she quickly rose to stardom with her remarkable skills.
Fans and netizens congratulated the singer commenting, "I can’t believe it has already been 12 years!", "Congratulations!", "She’s amazing", "BoA looks so pretty these days", "The sugar dolls on the cake look just like her", and more.

I forgot about KPOP shortly thereafter, though, until 2010. Cox got rid of the only channel that played it, and Youtube didn't exist yet. ^^*
