Sulli plays the role of Goo Jae Hee who is clumsy yet strong. If she sets her mind to something, she will work until she completes her goal. She is respectful to the people around her and has a sweet personality.
On the second episode, Jae Hee gets caught by Jang Min Woo (Ki Tae Young) of her disguise of being a boy, but still only worries about Kang Tae Joon (Choi Minho). Jaehee, who is attending an all boys sports high school, has to run, play soccer and other sports just like the other boys to fit in.
Sulli was able to play awkward and funny parts as well. Many are curious to see more of Sulli's acting talent throughout the drama. She was a child actor when she was young, but this is her first real project.
Internet users commented, "Her acting is so natural", "I thought she would be awkward, but she is not" and "She's pretty good."

Date: 2012-08-20 03:45 am (UTC)Someone else here mentioned that there seems to be a "curse" for not finishing a hanakimi series. I'm also guilty of this. I started watching the Japanese version & just never made it past the half mark. I'm not entirely sure why but I'm chalking it up to simply loosing interest. As far as casting, while I love Oguri Shun I feel Minho is better typecast as Sano. Sano's character was rather boring and only had life as a result of Mizuki. So I'll see how Minho's "acting" plays off of Sulli's character; he'll need to feed off of her since that's what motivates his character.
Also, while I love Ikuta Toma's rendition of Nakatsu this guy in the Korean version is just so darn lovable. He portrays Nakatsu's endearing and plucky side more which is a nice. There's still time to see if he'll get into some real hysterical melt down moments which made me love Toma.
The only other character I really care about is the doctor. At the heart of his character he's sarcastic, rude, blunt seemingly uncaring but actually empathetic. I'm concerned about them watering down his personality but I think this guy in the drama already is showing those qualities, which I appreciate. Oh, and Nakao's character (Kwanghee is it?) is surprisingly spot on. That guy was a narcissist and very territorial. Looking forward to him teaming up with Sulli's character. The dorm heads are...visually different, which kind of shocked me since everyone else "looked" close enough to their parts. However, their core personality seems to still be there. I quite like this dorm 2 as much as the Japanese version's but I have yet to see him go into womanizer mode.
Maybe I should just write a review...?
