the drama seems really similar in some places and really not similar in other places! mostly it looks fun, but all of the scenes with Jiwon's character seem weird. I'm guessing they're actually squishing together several characters from the manga for her character. I just hope she doesn't end up playing too big of a role.

I love the theme song they're using, even though I've never really listened to J-Min before I might actually check her other stuff out, her singing is really good!

I'm looking forward to seeing how this drama will turn out, ofc they had to add the typical annoying, third-wheel girl somehow... I really hope that they don't make her role THAT big but based on the preview... I fear that she's gonna be in it quite a lot.

After watching these previews I can actually see Sulli as the main character and I actually think she fits it quite well ^^ And I'm actually not all that bothered my Minho playing Sano - At least he'll be able to do the high jumping well :P

but... no EXO at all in the preview? I kinda wanted to see someone, even if only somewhere in the background XD

Lee Hyunwoo, why so presh? I'm seeing shades of Toma's Nakatsu, but obviously he won't go that way too much because it won't fit with the tone of this adaptation.

I don't know if my expectations were just that low for Minho that I didn't mind his acting this time around. I have seen much worse from him. The drama looks fun and cute, it's a nice counterbalance to my Wed's and Thur's since Gaksital can get a bit too intense. I just hope that the second lead girl isn't given that much screen time because she already looks annoying.

Yeah, he better survive this drama or I'll be completely mad like I did when SBS ended 'Warrior Baek Dong Soo' so horribly. Honestly, I usually can predict Kdramas' endings but this time I completely have no idea how they gonna end it. I think its 50-50 that he's gonna die in the end. The writer most probably wanted to kill off his character (since most Kdramas' writers lack originality/trying to be clever) but the PDs or audiences might influence his/her final script. I hope the letter will happen or I might remember this drama as one that have terrible ending rather than a drama that have good acting, writing & directing. >.> Endings can make good / bad dramas, I wish Korean script-writers know this since sometime I really can't take their ridicules & stupid endings...

I never finished watching WBDS especially after finding out it's ending. Two deaths I wouldn't mind would be Rie's and Shunji. I see Rie sacrificing herself for Kangto especially after last week's episodes and she also seems to have conflicting feelings about what she does. Shunji because I don't see him going back to being who he was, he has yet to show any remorse even after finding out what his brother did. He is so far gone to the dark side that I don't see any redemption for him. Kangto also did evil stuff but once he found out who Gaksital was he showed remorse about his past actions and redeemed himself as Gaksital.

Ahhhh! I can't read your message (though I did  a bit so I kinda know what will happen ;_;) since I have yet to watch that episode. T____T I will be in a few days time though! Will get back to you once I reached last week episode -- I'm in Episode 13 rn. Actually, I hate watching airing dramas since the anticipation always make me gone insane lol. But it's Joo Won and the drama sounds so tempting that's why I started it despite it is not finished yet. I love this kind drama (hero fighting against corrupt and bad officials) -- we got City Hunter last year which is so awesome and now this year, we got Bridal Mask. Hopefully, we can get another drama like this next year. :3

WBDS has so much potential to be an amazing drama. But the scriptwriter is a first timer -- which can be seen in all the inconsistency and under-developed plots that the drama suffers. But both Ji Chang Wook & Yoo Seung Ho are so amazing in their portrayals and the bromance is to look out for thus I'm not exactly regretting watching it. Plus, you might drool all the time watching Yoo Seung Ho's flawless hair & face. I'm not a shallow person but damn the boy is so pretty that I can't even believe it myself. xD I write a review about this drama here (http://tsuyoi-hikari.livejournal.com/62494.html). Joo Won and his eyes make me swoon. His eyes are so expressive and when he cries he breaks my heart. I loved City Hunter which is why I decided to give Bridal Mask a chance. It kept me on the edge of my seat every week. Lee Min Ho's new drama doesn't look bad either. Gaksital makes as excited as City Hunter did.

I really liked the child scenes but I think I stopped watching by Episode 7 and just read some recaps here and there. I don't normally like people my age, so I am not really attracted to Yoo Seung Ho, but Ji Chang Wook, on the other hand, is such a cutie. His smile is so sweet and he is so adorable.

Joo Won and his everything makes me swoon. I'm not even kidding since he is really a great actor -- you can even see his amazing acting from his very first drama. He's one of a few actors that I know I will stan for life. He consistently taking up quality projects that always ended up with high ratings. He's one of the actors that has a flawless record on his career so far. :))

How on earth he can look so desirable after being beaten up like this is beyond me. xD

City Hunter is basically so amazing. I'm not exactly a Lee Min Ho's fan (due to his dramas choices before CH) but that drama makes me an instant fan! To me, Gaksital makes me nervous and insane even more lol. Since LMH's character in City Hunter think first before he acts but Joo Won's character in Gaksital act on impulse thus making both me & my sister on our edge for every damn episode. XD

Ah, you don't normally attracted to the guys your age so meaning you normally like guys who are much older, right? But just wanna let you know that despite Yoo Seung Ho's good looks, he is actually a really amazing actor. And WBDS definitely prove it since he has a lot of scene that he need to emote and show emotion rather than saying the words or convey it with actions. I actually watch him since he is a kid so I kinda surprised that he become such a handsome young man now.

And you are right about Ji Chang Wook. He's an awesome actor who is really good at crying scenes. My sister likes him so much that she ended up watching 'Smile, Dong Hae' despite the gazillion episodes that the drama has. XD

Ojakgyo Brothers made me fall in love with him. He was just amazing in the emotional scenes. He has been very consistent in choosing dramas after Baker King and I hope he continues picking good projects.

Same, I have always found Lee Min Ho attractive but I was never really a fan of his. Those curls in Boys Before Flowers made him look horrible, and I couldn't really stand watching Personal Taste. City Hunter is the drama that made me interested in him. Faith doesn't look bad either but I will wait until a couple more episodes before I decide to watch it or not. I agree. Kangto frustrates me because I don't know if he is going to do something smart or just plain stupid and impulsive. At least in City Hunter, Yoon Sung didn't make me constantly panic.

Yep, I am fan of oppas. Lol. Lately, in k-pop though I have been questioning my taste since so many young kiddos are debuting now. I think seeing his younger self made it impossible for me to find him hot. In my head he is this cute kid no matter how hard I try. He has grown up really well and he seems to have a very solid career ahead of him. I haven't watched Arang and the Magistrate but I heard good reviews about it.

Oh my goodness, your sister has some dedication, not even my love for his smile could convince me to watch all those episodes. 16-20 episodes I am okay with but anything past 30 and I am like maybe another time.

This is long overdue but better late than never I guess. I have finished watching all the episodes per airing weeks ago but I forgot to reply to your message -- forgive me my friend...

I want Shunji to die tbh -- he is so despicable and his craziness start when he knows Gangto will always beat him in everything. Park Ki Woong is an amazing actor -- I feel the need to mosaic or sensor his face since I feel so annoyed watching him every time he appears on screen. :P

While I somehow like Rie very much. I wanted Mok Dan to be like her (too bad they always portray her as weak ;_;) -- which is smart, strong & fierce -- too bad Rie's screen time reduced so much in the latest episodes. :(

I can't wait to watch the final 2 episodes. This drama is pure crazy so far and I expect the ending to be grand -- considering the PD and the writer are the one responsibled for the awesome ending in 'Story of a Man' and 'Green Rose', I have faith they gonna give us a good ending... hopefully. :)

XD No no your right he has been much worse. But this is a much more high profile drama than what he has done before and you will truly be amazed on how much a good director (and a good script) can affect how good or bad the acting in a film (or in this case drama) can be. So probably with better direction Minho managed to improve a bit.

Goodness, Piano and Salamander Guru were cringe worthy. Minho is lucky I love SHINee or I wouldn't have gotten through an episode of either. I hope he improves with this director, he has the looks to be a good lead, it's just that he needs to emote more.

hahaha I love Minho, like an embarrassing amount. but I refuse to watch any of his dramas lol. I did see that one episode of Salamander guru with Taemin tho. I was cracking up at how ridiculous it was XD and Minho wrestling Taemin and getting in his face *___* (and Taemin dresses as a DOCTOR XD who would buy this pretty waif of a boy child as a doctor?) Altho I was sad that Taemin did not pull at Minho's fluffy hair or scratch his face because we all know the real Taemin is a vicious bitch beneath that cute baby doll face. (I once asked my friend who would win in a battle royale between Sungjong, Ren and Taemin aka the prettiest maknaes club and she was like Taemin because he would summon all the spirits of hell to defend him XD and so the legend of the taedemon lives on)

You are so lucky, I wish I hadn't talked myself into watching him act. I think I only watched part of Piano and like one episode of Salamander Guru before I gave up. But if I managed to get through Boys Before Flowers with Kim Hyun Joong, I am confident I can get through this. Lol.

Taemin does have a hidden snarky, bitchy side but I don't know, the way SungJong keeps his hyungs in check irl makes me think that this would be a tough battle. I was expecting more from Taemin in that fight scene, tbh.

LEE HYUNWOO!!!! I adore this guy and I love his portrayal of the role (his approach is very much in vein of japanese version). I just really hope that he will have enough time to shine on screen.

She is just the most precious thing ever. And it's interesting that she's being credited as Choi Jinri and not Sulli or even Choi Sulli like when she was a child actress. It's cute to see her cast members refer to her by her real name at the press conference, since I feel like everyone is so used to calling her by her stage name because she's been going by it for so long.

Zero. In years of watching Kdramas, the chances is zero or more like -1000 since it will be super impossible. The ONLY drama that managed to surprise the hell out of me with it's ending is 'Baker King, Takgu' when they made Yoojin (lead girl) ended up with Joo Won's character (second lead actor). Honestly, that drama makes me flipped and remains as one of my favoritest (lol) ending EVER... Me & my sister were in awe watching that awesome ending (we are still in awe even until today when we remember that ending!). xD;;
