That's why it's so weird to me, when people are mad at 2PM / JYP for letting him go. Why would they even want him around.. it was obvious that it wasn't his thing.

in one interview, they talked to him about success of his album and what he was hoping for, he pretty much brushed it off, then they told him it was 70,000+ sold and he was really? Then I want to see 100,000+. But it was sooo arbitrary.
i think he's making such music because he has learned more about sex and it's the music he grew up with.
As for JYP/2PM, that's a whole nother story, but it doesn't seem to be about doing his own thing, but about something they claimed he did they did not like.

The speculation of Jay trying to do his own thing was very, very present during the scandal period. People were always saying that he was simply using kpop as a platform to "make it."
i wish he didn't push on hip hop so hard. maybe go more r&b like old school usher or somewhere along the lines of what taeyang is pushing. still love the boy tho <3
Why are people hating on him? I don't get it. If you look at the lyrics, he's just singing about his feelings and doing what he loves. I'm guessing the budget for the video isn't as high as the others is because in his lyrics he indicated that he wants recognition and "acceptance" more than money. And that music is just music.
There's more to it than it looks. The swearing was probably there because he's Jay and he likes it. That's why he does it.
