SM Entertainment hints at 5-member TVXQ reunion?

Fans have noticed an interesting change on SM Entertainment Japan‘s official website. The profiles of the former members of TVXQ, Junsu, Yoochun, and Jaejoong, have appeared on the group’s section of the site.

After a lawsuit with SM Entertainment, TVXQ was left with two members, Yunho and Changmin. While Yunho and Changmin continued to promote as TVXQ, the other three members have been active under the name JYJ.

As expected, fans are eager to find out what the site update means as there is no statement from SM Entertainment or the TVXQ and JYJ members as of now.

Considering there have been murmurs of a reunion before, what do you think about this recent development? Is the site update a hint of TVXQ’s return as a 5-member group or some sort of mistake?

They keep messing with my heart. T_T Honestly, I'm just going to shut this article away until Friday when there's a ruling. This could be the media trolling, or SM doing a publicity stunt. It could also be truth, but there's almost no use speculating over it. This has dragged on for I don't know how many years now. I just want a final decision to be made so I can put the issue to rest and come to terms with whatever has been decided, whether they are 5 or 2 and 3. I just want resolution. </3

Argh, the drama in this fandom kills me. I do not want to get my hopes up. And actually people say that it has always been this way (all five of them were mentioned), so it is surprising why this made news today and everyone started freaking out. But in the long run, I believe we will see them together some day.

i wonder if part of the settlement with JYJ included a reunion while JYJ is still separately managed by another company for JYJ and individual promotions, but are allowed to come together for DBSK?

either way, i would love to be in the room when all five are together and no management from either camps are around. either fireworks will blow, or ya gonna need a parka for a while. cause i'm sure some issues are still lingering between HoMin and JYJ outside of management.

Except that on those websites (at least the jap ones, i'm sure of that), the profile of the band had never been down to 2 members.
I regularly checked Toho-jp.net profile just to see the 5 pics from The Secret Code Tour.
The profile has always been five members, even after 2009.

So nothing changed, fans freaked out/got excited for nothing, and Allkpop just wanted to troll and make a lot of money from messing with cassie's heart.

ngl, I flipped my shit when I first read the title in AKP, but then I realised it was just a rumour (like always). So, I won't believe shit about a DB5K reunion until there are official announcements from both parties (yeah... not going to happen anytime soon).

Rumors of a possible TVXQ reunion began spreading like wildfire once again, after the profiles of former group members Junsu, Yoochun, and Jaejoong were added onto the group’s section of SM Entertainment Japan‘s official website.

Following this change, popular Korean portal sites Naver, Nate, and Daum have also updated their TVXQ profiles.

Daum and Nate have listed all five names under the group ‘TVXQ (Dong Bang Shin Ki)’. Naver has listed Junsu, Yoochun, Jaejoong, and current member Yunho as ‘former’ members of TVXQ, while Changmin is still listed as a member. Whether or not this is an error has not been confirmed.

The updates of these popular portal sites are only causing fans to become more eager to know what these changes mean, however, as of now there is no official word from SM Entertainment nor the members themselves.

Probably just related to that best album, but then again who knows? (Aren't they currently negotiating with SM, if I remember right August 10th is the end of arbitration?) Anyhow, I don't think JYJ will ever go back to under SM management, at most I can see them doing some activities together with HoMin, but still being managed by themselves and CJES while HoMin is managed by SM. But most likely DBSK5 won't happen until HoMin leaves SM, which they might never do.

i don't think they will comeback together so soon, but yeah if they ever comeback as five, it will never be under SMe management. they could do something similar to what SS501 plans to do, come back together but with their own individual management. and for DBSK to be five again, some big money has to be promised to both sides.

but yeah. JYJ isn't ever going back to SMe, and i don't see HoMin leaving them unless they tank big time.

One basic thing if you're a fan of SM artists : DO NOT hope. Not on MVs, best-quality songs (of course they still sometimes produce best songs but no,don't get too excited before it's out),and surely don't hope on possibilities of member reunion when some of them are still in SM.

And they just never change the profiles since ages ago. JYJ's profiles were always there before =.="
