Fans who were waiting for SBS’s K-Pop Super Concert in America this Friday will have to wait a little longer as a postponement of the event was announced today.
It was announced on Absolute K-pop, “We regret to inform you that the SBS K-Pop Super Concert in America, scheduled to take place at the Home Depot Center this Friday, August 10, 2012, has been postponed to a later date. More details will be announced as soon as possible.”
It was soon followed up with the messages:
“Tickets can be refunded on AXS.com or Hotdeal.KoreaDaily.com, depending on the method you used to purchase your tickets. We deeply apologize for the inconvenience and disappointment we caused all of you. Please await an official letter of apology from SBS. More details regarding the postponed concert will be posted as soon as possible.”
and…
“Please hold on to your refunded tickets. We will make sure all those who have purchased tickets for the August 10, 2012 concert receive preferential ticketing options for the postponed concert.”
As the event was expected to have an amazing lineup of Girls’ Generation, MBLAQ, SHINee, Kara, 2PM, CN Blue, 2AM, SISTAR, and Secret, many K-Pop fans were saddened to hear the news of the postponement.

Date: 2012-08-08 02:01 am (UTC)guess i'm thankful nyc didn't have that issue. although we didn't know IF we were going to have anything until that day. i don't understand powerhouse/sme's relationship with that matter, or the ticketing situation. i don't understand why they went back to powerhouse, there are others out there. i hope if they do come back to NYC powerhouse is no where to be found.
