AOA participates in flash mob with fans

Rookie girl group AOA (Ace of Angels) participated in a flash mob with their fans.
They gathered in Myeongdong and the Cheonggyecheon Stream to participate in this flashmob. The group consists of Seolhyun, ChoA, Hyejung, Chanmi, Yoo-Na, MinAh, Jimin and drummer Yookyung. Along with the fans, AOA danced the choreography to their new title track “ELVIS“. The event was put on in support of the 2012 London Olympics.

Despite the hot summer heat, many onlookers were surprised that even the male fans were wearing the angel wings while dancing. A video of the flashmob in Myeongdong was recently uploaded on the internet and an official video of the flashmob event with AOA dancing with fans will be uploaded on August 7th.

AOA is being labeled as a ‘transformer’ girl group. Not only do they have a unique ‘angel’ concept, AOA is set apart from most girl groups out there today, as they periodically ‘transform’ from a dance group to a live band. In related news, AOA held a successful debut showcase on July 30th and will have their first debut stage at Mnet‘s ‘M! Countdown‘ on August 9th to officially kick off their debut promotions.

I think this was a good marketing strategy and I agree the people in the front probably were give a little something something to participate and do well ha ha. I still like them though.
