omonatheydidThe recent string of bad luck that some of today’s top celebrities have had are causing fans to question if it has anything to do with what they suspect to be a ‘We Got Married‘ curse.
Not only has T-ara been swept up in their own controversy, 2PM‘s Nichkhun and Clazziquai‘s Alex have recently been booked for driving under the influence. Additionally, in the past, Super Junior‘s Kangin, Crown J, and SG Wanabee‘s Kim Yong Jun have also all been involved in unfortunate situations.
Girl group T-ara has been plagued with what seems to be the worst bullying scandal in the history of K-Pop, and following Hwayoung‘s leave, former fans are petitioning that Eunjung be removed from dramas, advertisements, as well as MBC’s ‘We Got Married’.
2PM’s Nichkhun who was coupled with f(x)‘s Victoria on the show has also recently been involved in an unfortunate accident after having a few beers before getting behind the wheel. His alcohol level was measured at 0.056% and the 2PM member has currently put a halt to his activities. Ahead of his accident, Clazziquai’s Alex who was coupled with actress Shin Ae on ‘We Got Married’ was also booked for driving under the influence.
Super Junior’s Kangin previously paired with actress Lee Yoon Ji on the show also caused much social upheaval as a result of his drunk driving and bar fight, and Crown J who was coupled with singer Seo In Young was charged for possession of marijuana, then later charged for assault on his former manager.
And Kim Yong Jun who is currently serving in the Korean military as a public service worker drew major interest after featuring on ‘We Got Married’ with his actual girlfriend Hwang Jung Eum, but later received 80 hours of community service and was put on probation.
Furthermore, previous ‘We Got Married’ host Go Young Wook has also had his share of legal troubles.
