ZE:A‘s Junyoung expressed his anger towards child sex offenders via Twitter.

On the 23rd, Junyoung tweeted, “These days, child sex offenses are big on the news. Since the weather is getting hot, it seems like there are a lot of men who have lost their minds. Why they would do such a thing, I’m getting so angry. The anger of the victims’ parents probably cannot be expressed in words. If the offenders were in the parents’ position, would they still be able to do something like that? Ah~.

Junyoung also expressed his worry for the victims of child abuse by adding, “Those sex offenders.. if I meet them on the streets or somewhere, I want to trouble them to make them think about what they did. No, my anger won’t subside no matter what I do right? If I was in the parents’ shoes, I wouldn’t be able to forgive them. For an app that informs users about sex offenders to be released, there must be that many crimes. How can they be forgiven.”

After reading Junyoung’s tweets, netizens responded, “I can feel the anger from your words. I’m angry as well,” “If we meet them in the streets, let’s trouble them together. Men who have really lost their minds,” and “It’d be nice if all men in the world shared the same thoughts as you, Junyoung.”

In related news, ZE:A is currently promoting their newest single “Aftermath“.

After all the defense in JoePa's name for covering for Sandusky and so much frustration with the lengths people are willing to go to ignore the truth, this is so refreshing. I just want to hug you, Junyoung.

I really don't get it, why do people try to hide it? They'll just go somewhere else and do it, I'm just gobsmacked by the apathy towards sexual abuse.

ikr!!!
At least he's not pretending that the world is full of rainbow farts and fairies!
I wish more idols/celebrities would use their status to raise awareness on issues that actually matter and not something stupid like "Egg Song" to REMIND people to eat eggs..smh -__-

It reminds me of the film Rules of the Game. There are rules to society that one has to follow. These guys know what the world is like, they're in the Ent industry, they know or have seen things that would make people's stomach turn. But that's what you do in a society like Korea where they must hide everything, it's all about image so they have to package Korea as a whiter than white country. Be completely outrage or shocked when something terrible happens, yet it's happening around all the time. Ffs you have Taxi drivers raping girls and there doesn't seem to be much done about it:/

Here here nice to hear someone in the industry speak out about it. If we want to move forward these conversations have to happen.

I stumbled upon the Tumblr (http://djura.tumblr.com/post/16604237292/for-a-lost-soldier-1992) of a pedophile a week ago. The pictures- nothing but boys- were innocent enough, but knowing the mind (http://djura.tumblr.com/post/27855695903/are-you-attracted-to-young-boys-would-you-ever-date) of the man who posted them (he's answered asks about his feelings) made them disturbing. I hope he's never done anything. I kept tweeting about it because I was...bothered, confused. There's more where he came from.

I was looking in the WWII tag. Dude likes ~vintage photography. rme

That Tumblr was scary. Let's just I don't want to go in to older men and their mindset, esp about young boys and girls, it can be very creepy.

Omg, you're right that guy must be some kind of pedophile.
His way of "enjoying aesthetics of youth" is quite disturbing...

oh my gosh i am soooo disturbed. Just looking through like 5 photos on his blog I had to exit out because it was just too disturbing. He obviously has a thing for young boys. There's no way any normal person can look through a few of these photos and not think it odd...even I started feeling like a pedophile just from seeing so many photos of young strangers.

What's even more frightening is that ask question he answered. Dude had 15 likes on that. And I was like "No way those people have normal blogs"..uhh...looked at 3 of them and regret it, yep same creepy minds...

Yes. It took me just a few pictures, plus his "I enjoy the aesthetics of youth" bullshit, before I was like o_o. He makes his own gifs of films, all of which involve 10-13 year old boys as protagonists. I can't...

I did the same thing. :/ I got sucked in, and I couldn't stop checking out each blog (looked at their "likes" too). Someone else was asked the same question, and he answered "yes totally!" and said he wouldn't be ashamed, and no one should be.

I don't know, I'm certainly sure that I'm not a paedophile but the photos are alright? (as long as those photos are taken with permissions and all)
idk, I see nothing sexual in them and all.

I think nothing's wrong with appreciating youth and all, but idk maybe I'm ignorant, I'm pretty clueless about these stuffs.

I'm glad he's responding that way, although I'm getting flashbacks to that creepy pedo on arama who had all these teenagers defending him. T_T

More celebrities need to speak out about this kind of shit. American celebrities bitch about the usual causes like world hunger and poverty, but not very many people are brave enough to talk about things like this, and Korea seems to like keeping these kind of things swept under the rug. Don't know Ze:A but I like this guy.

"If the offenders were in the parents’ position, would they still be able to do something like that?"
The sad reality is, is that if these offenders had kids, their kids would most likely be their first victims. These people have no conscience. If they can rape a young child, anybody is a fair target to them.

I don't follow ZE:A but good for him for speaking up. Especially from an Asian society where people tend to like to hide everything and anything that will make the family loose face.

It's terrible to think about :/. The man fostered and adopted children like he did with his son and could have done the same thing to any number of them. It's sad how long it went without anyone saying anything. I'm glad it eventually came out and that Penn State is being forced to pay up.

uh, no, I mean that's the worst I don't even want to think about it.
the worst thing is the trauma, and if the parents are the offenders... it's nearly impossible for the kids to recover.
urgh.

Another reason why you're my bias. Perfect Moonleader is perfect. This is a huge issue, that is being thrown under the rug far too often.
