I have been thinking about this... if you found out your daughter and her friends were in charge of a fansite that takes a crazy amount of photos in the largest format & HD videos using an expensive camera of some dumpling face girl everywhere she goes, what would you do?

I mean logically as a parent you would prob fall in love with her. But forever respect k-wf's dedication, as always. Happy the way the way our small fandom is lol. They all have some really dedicated ones (yeeun bar, heart etc doing loadsa work, sunye's cafes doing charity, yoolim ones in a variety of things too) with them since the start. Thought about this since the rice wreaths from the concert and all the news I can just snag so easily ._.

Anw, other recent news include Yeeun answering fan questions on Sinbi, Yoobin's Q&A answers, excerpts from Food OT3 photoshoot interviews, random news articles etc you can find at the first source link! They will be busy in Japan these few days for their album release, and we are expecting a few more Japan performances, interviews etc. 2? magazine covers have already been released.

I would be happy my daughter is not in a crack den somewhere lol and would try to help her make some money off her site. The big SNSD member fan sites like flying petals make truckloads of money. I'd be concerned where my daughter is getting the money for this hobby lol if she isn't making any from this site. I'm not sure the WG fansites make that much? The only complain I have about the fandom is how long a lot of stuff (variety) takes to get translated (unless it's SUN cuts, that shit gets subbed in 12 hours)

I don't think WG fansites make that much, they often call for donations during the birthday periods that's about it.

Yes that is the thing it take very long, Wondersubbers also doesn't release everything? I think they seriously only have 3-4 people working right now. I think WG spec wanted to be an international site like soshified but I don't think our fanbase is strong/addicted enough to hold it down lol. The korean sites are very private in that you have to be a member or certain level of membership before accessing message boards and mind you all of them are pretty messy even after you enter ;_;

Flying Petals, Shining Smile, The Stephi, they all make their main income from their sites. A lot of the money is from donations, yes, but they also sell merch with the pictures and videos they make, like compilations, which are for sale on the sites. With the money they make from donations they can afford to be at every event, fly to certain places, buy good equipment for HQ pictures and video, have multiple photographers and maintain the site (Hosting costs are expensive). With the donation money they can also arrange food support, etc. without having to request every time. The money they make from compilations is profit. I haven't seen any WG fansites be on that level, lol. If Hyoyeon's fansite allegedly made 10,000usd from sales of a calendar, I don't want to think how much Taeyeon's sites make.

It's sad how dead Wspec is. Wondersubbers is always looking for staff. Makes me wish I could help. I can't bring myself to post in a forum anymore when there are so many other ways with interact with other wonderfuls and read the latest news.

omg glorious poast. *tackles OP* :3 This is the best all five of the WG have looked in a long time. I legit forgot Yeeun's hair is still super short--her hair/everything looks so good. And of course the perfs are great. ugh I love them. Love them like money, cars, diamonds, fresh new wheels, ice on my wrists, etc etc
