I feel disappointed that we only get 9 tracks, 2 of which are instrumentals and one we've heard before. And almost all the new tracks are slow/ballads and mid-tempos save for Shadow :< idk how to feel about this. I wasn't crazy about HV but she had the fiercest tracks in there which I love to death like Game and Let Me (and Don't know what to say) and I don't know if I'll be able to say the same about this one :/
I loved Hurricane Venus. It's easily my favorite Korean album that she's ever come out with, and probably my favorite BoA album overall. The only one that MIGHT be able to compete with it is the Face.
I know some of it HAS to be green screen, but I don't know if all of it is. I'm wondering if the set is part of the English Village that they have in Korea that was seen in Super Junior's U, or if they actually built it. If they did, it's pretty freakin' impressive. I just don't think that all of it can be green screen. I love that SM actually, you know, put some cash into BoA's return, because lord knows she's given them enough money and paved the way for them to get even MORE money by being the trailblazer that she is.
I also am amused that the guy who dances with her in the solo spot (beautiful!) is better looking than Derek Hough and the random fool who is in the drama version that she teased.
Oh, and, once again, the PIANO!!! ALL MY FEELINGS ARE THROWN OUT OF WHACK BECAUSE THAT PIANO IS SO BEAUTIFUL!
I love that she composed this song. It's... just... like... I don't even know how to express it.
Can't wait to see the Lives. I hope whatever backing dancers she has let her do the 'I will lay on your backs and you will carry me because I AM THE GOD DAMN QUEEN!'
so much better than hurricane venus. the choreo at the end was beautiful, although i felt like other parts of the choreo were too powerful for a song like this. but all in all i'm a lot more pleased with this than with her last korean comeback.
The piano is pretty amazing, but I don't like the song.
But hands down Queen of KPop. It just occured to me to wonder why Hyoyeon is labelled "dancing queen" when from what I can see BoA vastly outdances her.
I was trying to figure out what was different about her dancers (other than the obvious, diversity). And then it hit me: they're all good-looking. Usually in k-pop the backup dancers are not that great looking as a whole. I hope she'll use these dancers for her promotions too, though I doubt it ;-;
I love the song and the dance though. BoA herself looks amazing♥
I like this one. Much better than HV, imo. This is like her Japanese releases, specifically 'Eien". The setting, the music, the choreography has the same atmosphere as "Eien". Which is probably why I like it better. The HV period wasn't really impressive for me, but this album/MV might make me wanna take a look at BoA again. edit: lol I even forget Copy & Paste period. Ah well :P
I'd be right there with you if it weren't for the fact that my dad is right behind me right now and might assume I have completely lost my mind at 12 o'clock in the morning .___.
