2NE1 "No. 1 Blackjack" Fanart Contest Winner Stole Submission

Artist Adriana Melo took to her tumblr to address an issue regarding @GlobalBlackJack's fan contest. Apparently the contest winner submitted artwork that did not belong to them, unknowing to the contest holder.

She posted:

Yesterday I received a lot of messages on my deviantart page, congratulating me for “winning” a 2NE1 fanart contest. Since I never submitted this to any kind of contest, took me sometime to understand what was going on.

After some research I found out that someone won this fanart contest posting my work but after cropped my signature off from the original piece.

That person keep saying he didn’t stole anything, but he never contact me previously about the artwork, never mentioned it belonged to someone else and even accepted compliments towards the drawing. Once again, I ask you to compare what he subbimted and the original piece. The fact that the signature was cropped out is reason enough to show his real intentions.

I have extreme mixed feelings right now, because I LOVE 2NE1 and is great to see them holding my drawing, but really SUCKS it was credited to someone else. TT-TT

I would really appreciate if this post was reblogged and the news about the art theft get spread. :/

@GlobalBlackjack has deleted the contest winner tweet but has not taken any further action for the original artist or against the fraudulent douchebag.

if you look at their twitter (https://twitter.com/ShinobiChan00) they're speaking in third person and delusional as fuck. they keep stating they didn't do anything and they were only defending minzy, so haters came after them. they deleted yesterday and returned. they even went as far to say Adriana hacked deviant art (lmfao) and changed the date so Adriana is the stealer. he also told Adriana "to get ur head out ur ass" when she contacted him. that he didn't steal anything.

This is horrible, I can't imagine how the original artist feels now.
But to be honest, isn't the way they held the contest kinda careless and rather stupid? People posted their fan art on twitter so it isn't surprise if the art work was stolen, or if someone else also stole another art work? I mean, aren't they supposed to send in THE original piece to YGE?? And sing it?? That's how the contests are held where I am coming from, even if they had to travel overseas.
I honestly hope YGE will do something about this asap.

Glad that Adriana created twitter and took it out with him in a classy way. I really hate people who copy shit (no excuses boy, you obviously altered the signature) and then uses some fallacious logic to get back to the haters. Just freaking admit your mistake and apologize.
