I fucking love it. The buildup towards the climax of the song is pretty great. It isn't anything like their sound (or kpop in general, for that matter) at all, but I appreciate that they're trying something different.
? I don't hear any Latin influence. This is pretty clearly a club song, just more upbeat with some acoustic guitar and piano mixed in at certain points.
ikr? I have no idea what's so appealing or different about them but I can always listen to their albums straight through, which I can't say about most groups.
No, I'm the same - their debut was okay, "Shock" and "Soom" were better (and really catchy), "Beautiful" was cute, but "Fiction" (and Fiction and Fact) was where they really made an album with great vocals and sounds. It seems like "Midnight" and this mini are following in a similar vein, so I'm happy.
It's pleasant but not really great. And their vocals seem to not have improved as much as I thought. Honestly everything since Soom has left me unexcited.
Wow lots of people aren't enjoying this but I absolutely love it. The interesting balance of the sad lyrics with the really catchy beat really appeals to me and some of the chords I hear sound so lovely accompanying their voices. I can hardly stay sitting down when I hear it, I want to dance!
After that teaser video/concept pictures I wasn't really feeling it. But I really like this song. I love all of their stuff actually o_o to each their own, though it seems a lot of beauties have left omona or something. I swear at a point they were the rave. Maybe that's just me.
I mean, I like it and all but this is obviously not title track material (which is good because it isn't). It's different and a good "background" kind of song. Can't see myself jamming to it, though.
I was expecting a ballad so this was quite surprising to me. I love Doojoon's part!!!*___* also wasn't expecting Dongwoon to start the first verse .... and Kikwang gets the first half of the chorus instead. It's a new change .... I love it though!!!
The vocal parts are split up really evenly, you can hear each member contributing in a significant way, which is a refreshing change from songs where only one or two members sing and the rest get a line apiece.
I also love how Dongwoon's vocals just keep improving - I could be wrong, but I think that's him pulling the high notes starting at 3:23?
