I don't really know that much about Kangin (got into Kpop after he left for the army) but I'm really unimpressed. Guess he's either never been good or he just needed more practice before his comeback because in my eyes he really stands out as the worst performer.

He might not be the best performer but he's really funny guy. Back in the day, he used to be one of the funniest idols, right next to Eunhyuk, Leeteuk, Heechul and Shindong.

Just wait till he appears on a variety show or something, I'm sure you'll change your mind.

I guess going to the army and brief hiatus makes him like that but performing wasn't his best forte. He's good in variety show and mcing.

compared to the rest of the group, he stands out pretty badly. I think he needed more time to get in shape before the comeback.

tbh, I think they (him and SM) rushed Kangin back for this 6jib comeback. he was clearly out of shape when he was released from the army and judging by the amount of sweat during the performance compared to the other members, he's still definitely out of shape. He's a step slower than everyone else and really out of breathe when it's his turn to sing. I guess that's why the cameras haven't really panned to him as much during these stages.

but, I gotta give props to him. He's clearly not 100% ready for the comeback or to perform, but he learned the choreography, is trying to lose weight, and wants to be apart of a group that is dwindling in number. Siwon wasn't in this performance ... again. In a span of four months since his release from the army, I think Kangin's barely managing and I guess that's enough for the fans.

then again, the dancing/performing bit was never really his forte even before he went into the army. like the others have said, his forte was in MCing and appearing on variety shows. He was pretty funny and witty. I'm not really a Kangin fan, but from the bits of old Suju programs I've seen him on, he was better at MCing than Leeteuk, Eunhyuk and Shindong.

kangin has always been more of an entertainer than a performer. like others said, he's funny and charismatic mc, but imo he doesn't add anything to the group onstage.
