Well, it was probably cheaper to rent than venue in NY. I just hope they can fill it up as according to wikipedia it can have 19,500 people for concerts. (It would have been much safer to book a smaller venue for two concerts instead as that way they could have sold hardcore fans tickets for both concerts and wouldn't actually need to find almost 20,000 fans willing to buy a ticket)
FINALY! now i can start planning the venue is really cool and you can see really well even from the stands. But hopefully i'll be lucky again and be in the front
I'm so nervous about this, as my mom hates Newark and I doubt she will let me go to a concert there. Even recently, she wouldn't let me go to a Radiohead concert at the Prudential Center because she thinks Newark is too dangerous. Maybe if I tell her how unlikely it is that Big Bang will come back, she'll be okay with it and will just schedule extra precautions, but I'm not sure. This was so much easier when it was in NYC, even though I'm from NJ. If they had to be in NJ, couldn't they have done Atlantic City or somewhere else?
Was it announced when tickets will go on sale? I want to know how long I have to convince her.
If it was one day later it would be perfect. The 9th is my moms bday and I already missed mothers day bc I was in Korea. Shes going to think I hate her now that Im missing her bday.
So going to this. Newark will be cheaper for me to travel to as well! I've heard it's sketchy, but I'm sure as long as you follow proper precautions, everyone will be fine. My city is pretty sketchy too. W/e. SKIPPING CLASS AND GOING TO THIS BABY!!!!
Ok. Cool. I can deal with this. The travel time from Queens isn't too horrible. I fully expect TOP to pick me up at the station and shuttle me to the venue.
Friday is also good (althoug, if I get GA tickets, I can't wait in line all day...). Excited.
omg it was definitely sketch... i was there by myself at like 3am in the morning... and had to switch terminals and stuff. the people around were pretty sketchy....
I have been to concerts at the center in Camden so the Prudential is not a problem. I might drop plans to go to the LA show and just go to this one...nah...still doing both.
