Core Contents Media has officially unveiled the profile details as well as the profile shots of T-ara‘s new eighth member, Ahreum.
On June 14th, new profile pictures of Ahreum were released online, showcasing a more up-to-date look than her previously released shots.
Core Contents Media revealed, “T-ara’s eighth member is 19-year-old Ahreum, who is slim and stands at 167 cm tall with milky skin.”
The agency elaborated, “Ahreum’s parents were heavily involved in the music industry… Ahreum is a talented member who has inherited her parents’ abilities.”
Currently, Ahreum is in her third year as a student at Hanlim Arts High School and was praised for her superior singing skills at the time of her admission into the school.
Ahreum will officially join T-ara for ‘Day by Day’ promotions, including the upcoming inauguration ceremony of the group’s official fan club, QUEEN’s, on July 14th. She will also participate in T-ara’s first solo concert in August.
In related news, T-ara’s new ninth member, Dani, will appear in the group’s upcoming music video and begin her activities as a part of the group in December.

Date: 2012-06-14 03:40 pm (UTC)T-ara doesn't. Ever since Hwayoung was added (even though she's a rapper), Qri and Boram have had less singing time. Look at Cry Cry. Qri got 2 words, and Boram got a dance solo to make up for having none at all.
Two more girls would probably mean that they are both permanently relegated to back-up dancer. Now, maybe you don't mind that, but Boram (regardless of skill) tied with Soyeon for my favorite voice in T-ara. If she stops singing entirely, I'm probably not going to continue following them.
