Yoo In Na was filming for 'We Got Married' before the strike, current status 'pending'

In a further twist to the Yoo In Na – Ji Hyun Woo love saga, it has recently been revealed that Yoo In Na had been filming as part of a new couple for the MBC variety program, ‘We Got Married‘.

The filming had started before the MBC crew declared its strike in January. The compiled footage had been unaired due to the program’s participation in the labor union. The actress, along with her partner, would have been the replacement for the Park So Hyun – Kim Won Joon couple.

Although ‘We Got Married’ eventually made the decision to resume regular broadcasts, the shocking love confession by fellow ‘Queen Inhyun’s Man‘ actor Ji Hyun Woo has thrown the entire plan into turmoil, an MBC insider revealed.

“The situation is neither here nor there,” he confessed. “The expectations were large considering the amount of time we’ve waited, but we don’t know how to solve this problem.”

“Yoo In Na’s agency has said they will not be commenting on the matter, so we will need to wait and see some more,” he said.

It looks like Ji Hyun Woo’s confession has had some major ripple effects, especially with the show expected to resume broadcasting soon.  Would it have been better for him to confess privately?

I can understand that SHE must have been shocked but gee, fans/producers/agencies let it go already. Can they just pass it as her being is ideal type instead of making a bigger issue than it is with this kind a article.

I think the whole premise is that everyone "knows" WGM is fake, but the intrigue is in seeing the intimacy between the couple -- the more "real" it looks, the more viewers are into the couple and start shipping them. And that possibility, which is the basis of the show, is cut off if one of the pair is known to be in a off-screen relationship already. You can't enjoy speculating on "ooh, he really likes her!" if one of them's not in the game.

exactly. I'm a total fan of season 1 and I remember in the Andy/Solbi couple where Solbi mentioned when it came to emotions, it was hard to tell what was "real" and what's not. Of course, she could have been fakin the tears, but the idea totally plays with the viewers.

You know it's suppose to be fake, but simply playing with the idea of what if true emotions got involved and the thin line between reality and fantasy gets mixed up. It's like a K-drama in a live documentary form. We love our OTP's in dramas even if they are all.... fake.

Aren't they both adults? Why the hell are their companies even making statements about this? It's none of their business. Public confession or not, it's for the two of them to deal with it now. The companies are just standing there scratching their heads over how to deal with it when they shouldn't even get involved. Let the two involved resolve it between themselves jfc Korea. Maybe that's why he chose to make the public confession. He probably knew Yoo In-na was already filming for WGM, and might have already made his feelings known to her prior to the public confession. He could have acted that way because maybe it would have been harder if he didn't express his affections publicly. I think he was looking out for his future chances with Yoo In-na, in a very general/public scope, with the hope that he won't be forgotten even when her career resumes (projects like WGM). Clearly, I'm just guessing with what little info we have here. Just putting that thought out there. I'm not saying if I agree with what he did or not.

I've been thinking along the same lines. People keep saying he should have waited the 2 years . . . but what if she started dating someone else while he was gone? What if she liked him at current, but got over him in the intervening years?

And public confessions aren't easy either, as we can see from the way this one went. Especially considering that everyone's going to remember this when they think of either of them.

This stunt, as immature as it was, may have been the only way he could make sure she (and the rest of us) understood how much she meant to him.

IA it still might've been agreed to by the both of them. If WGM was suddenly un-cancelled and then all of the sudden there a new "WGM Couple" seen as Yoo InAh's public relationship (even after all this time people support the Ant couple) in 2 years if they did decide to start going out it would be a couple war. This way QIHM Couple was first I guess.

She's damn if does, damned if she doesn't. He really should of either waited or asked her permission her first. Its one thing to do it privately, but another to do it publicly and surprise her. I never really thoughts it was sweet to begin with, becuase of Korea's crazy dating rules.
