I feel a little sad...I don't really like where most of their music is going. I liked when they were hood rats tbh...yeah they looked stupid in ghetto clothing, but I liked the music. Boo...I hate change.
I was just ranting to my friends about how I miss their 'haru haru' days. It seems like now they're focusing too much on the theatrics and the visuals and it's getting old for me :(
really? Because I feel like Monster and Bingle are somewhat in the same area musically as Haru Haru/Lies. They had taken kinda of a new direction with Fantastic Baby, Bad Boy, and Blue but I feel like these songs are 'safe' songs. They sound so Big Bang. Not a bad thing but they felt too familiar.
Sorry I just realised how unclear I was in that comment lol. I wasn't referring specifically to this special album, but really how they've been over the past few years. I do agree that Monster and Bingle are similar, too. Haha, I think I'm a bit too scared of change or something.
Ego was my favourite BB Japanese release ever, so it was hard for the Korean version to top that; otherwise, I would say the re-release has a more impressive lineup than Alive.
this edition really surprised it. i didn't expect to love all 3 new songs. also i really wish they used Ego as a title song in Japan (which would make more sense) or Korea...
