Really??? Oh man that sucks. Do Japanese people actually let this horrible accent fly by??? Just cause I see that BB is ranked pretty high on the Oricon Charts. I'm assuming DBSK are pretty good at Japanese now right??? Since they've stayed in Japan for a long time.
I know that DBSK are big in Japan but they must be a lot bigger than I assumed if so many people are interested in BB to make them #3 on Oricon due to the rivalry. Yeah I think YG was to quick to debut them in Japan, they should have had them wait and study the language b/c first impressions mean a lot...
I totally agree with you on them being more successful in Japan than US. I don't know anyone who would disagree though...the American market is just WAYY to competitive & harsh...the Japanese market is a lot more forgiving and open to people of different ethnicity....They would definitely be something different and unique but many would still call them posers...I mean pretty rappers??? who wear pink??? Pink still doesn't go very well with the American public when it comes to men.
Oh bb you don't. I kinda agree that it's somewhat awkward seeing them in Japan. I mean, I really like Heaven (Korean Version) and seeing a Japanese version of it doesn't really suit me nor do I see it being mainstream J-pop.
Of course they can make it big with their uniqueness and charms. But to me, they are much more suited in Korea though~
Honestly the only thing they need to do is learn their Japanese more fluently so they can be more verbally engaging on tv shows, which are so important for their promotions. The best one at speaking is Taeyang for sure but they all have such great personalities that don't really come across fully because of the language barrier therefore causing them to need translators.
Anyway they are just starting, and so far they aren't doing bad at all. And DBSK vs BB is just useless at this point. It's apparent their styles are very different. Anyway i'm happy for them.
yay! another live!! even tho i'm not a big fan of Ri, i'm actually beginning to feel bad for him b/c he doesn't get any solo shots so barely any camera time. poor maknae :( other than that... the boys were uber cute, and gd never fails to amuse me with his, "woooooooooweeeeeeeeeeeee!' *gigglesnort* keep it up boys!
People should seriously stop this "they should go back to Korea 'cause they don't speak Japanese well" bs. A little reminder: did TVXQ members speak Japanese fluently? Oh no they didn't. They, too, needed a translator first and whatnot. And see where TVXQ is now, and how their Japanese is now. Yup, I wish BB all the best~
