i feel like what keeps 4Minute going during lives nowadays is their hope for being #1 on certain shows, and that's because being #1 on those shows makes you "successful". then, when it's obvious that they've missed that chance, their energy and concentration start to go too. they were so close the last 2 weeks, and if you compare those weeks' performances with this week's (where they were no longer in the running for #1), the difference is pretty damn obvious.

I think it's the fact that she "raps" and sings/belts.
Unlike most female idol's who are labelled the rapper, and must fit that cookie cutter mold that's already established for them.
Using you just get your rap verse then fade into the back.
But she gets a lot of air time.

I dunno, it's just different/fresh.
Especially for a ~GIRL GROUP~ debut.

That's why I personally, think she gets the love/attention that she does.
I like all the members of HV equally so far, I don't have a fave yet.

she has the most charisma imo. and she can rap, dance, and sing her ass off. in most groups each member is usually good at one thing. its rare to find a member that can fit into many roles.

Yoona looked so cute with Seohyun and actually quite funny :) That apart, TTS sounded more confident that the first perf (I need to check the others) I enjoyed it.

JUST OMG WHAT DID I MISS. HELLO VENUS HOLY SHIT. 'Hello' was so fucking great, outfits, chore, songs and rap, I wish it was longer (I'm not that much into 'Venus' actually even if they sound great...) IMMA STAN THEM.
AND DON'T EVEN START ME ON BAP & EXO K. I loved BAP's raps - even if the singers look a bit like 'pets' dancing around and singing sometimes, and that I don't like the only remaining blonde, THEY'RE GREAT. And EXO K sound just SO good. SMEnt definitively knows how to choose its singers... (I'm not sure about the wannabe-heavy-metal-part that is just so messy and nothing like rock but whatever).

seohyun's high note on mubank was better than yesterday's, but tbh i would rather she do a jessica and lipsync it than see her struggle with that note. taeyeon's been doing consistently well on the performances! i'm proud :D

Ikr I honestly don't think I'll be able to tell when Taeyeon lipsynchs (IF she does) coz' she sounds really on point every time. She's really stable, I'll give her that - even though I know there are people on Omona who don't really like the tone of her voice/the way she belts out high notes etc.

Ivy is giving it her all in the performance. I like to see an artist show emotion as they sing throughout a performance. Her smile at the beginning was beautiful. Glad to see her active again and hoping for MORE albums from her in the years to come.
