Singer BoA will appear on KBS’s talk show Win Win for a solo appearance and many people are wondering what she will talk about.

BoA will record the show on May 24 or 31. Since she has never appeared on a talk show by herself, her appearance on a talk show is drawing a lot of attention.

She will talk about how she became a successful singer after she debuted at the age of 13 years old. She will also talk about the behind the scene story when she worked in Japan and the United States.

She is planning to show her honesty, which she impressed the audience with by appearing on SBS’s K-pop Star and talk about her ordinary life.

Since she is well known as a star who has lots of friends, people are wondering which star will appear on the show as a secret guest.

ps she's done lots of interviews in japan, but i only ever remember specifically a clip of her trying to read something written in japanese while on a program with ayu. i just always remember cause i felt so bad for her :( can't even find the clip now.

Most of her appearances on old Korean programs have been removed from YT, but she was pretty bubbly as a teenager. I think Japan and the changing of the SM guard crushed a lot of the enthusiasm out of her.

This. It's hard to watch her VALENTI tour and then watch her Identity tour and expect the same personality. I wish I could just give her a hug and tell her how amazing she is.

This, so much. I really don't know how she does it, especially those few years where she alternated between Japan and Korea every six months. It's no wonder she burnt out a little a few years back; all the more power to her for making it to where she is today with her sanity about her.

the only thing i find weird is how much aegyo i've seen her do in kpop star, but on japanese shows, she always comes off as being really mature and having a really cool, down-to-earth personality. i don't know if it's the culture or...it might just be me lol

A load of SM's old groups left in the early 2000s, like Shinhwa, HOT members (?), SES and Fly to the Sky (this is also around the time SMTown albums started drying out, boo). I think BoA was particularly close to FTTS and Minwoo. SME also had a bunch of failed projects - Blackbeat, MILK and Isak n Jiyeon - before becoming the mega-agency they are today.

I tend to think of DBSK as the first of the "new generation".

Although it's weird to think that SM had groups that failed, I'm so used to them being the ultimate Kpop agency! I've never even heard of Blackbeat or MILK..

Yeah, they were complete failures on SME's part. I think MILK was meant to be the second coming of SES; some of their members were in DBSK's Yeohaengi drama thing. One of SM's current lead choregraphers, Shim Jaewon, was in Blackbeat. They also tried and failed to promote Dana.

Old SMTown is actually so adorable and cheerful; their 2002 winter album is one of the most adorable things ever. I was anticipating the prospect of a Healing Camp appearance after hearing that they're in the process of inviting her, but Win Win will do! It's been such a crazy few months for BoA fans, never thought we'd see the day when BoA appears on variety programs/talk shows in Korea. It's like she's making up for the 5-year hiatus this year. It'll be interesting to see who will guest for her, people have been saying Lee Sooman should appear, lol. And it would have been cute if Taeyeon was still one of the hosts.
