Kara‘s Jiyoung proved her popularity once again as a pair of rubber gloves featuring her autograph sold for 3.75 million won (approximately $3,300 USD).

A netizen uploaded the above screen capture of a Japanese auction site on an online community board with the title, “Kang Jiyoung’s signed rubber gloves“.

The highest bid for the signed pink rubber gloves in the photo was an impressive 264,000 yen.

The auction was held before KARA wrapped up their concerts in Japan, and the event received a strong response as this event was highly meaningful for Japanese fans.

Korean netizens replied to the photo with “KARA must be very popular in Japan” and “Well, it can happen in our nation too. This is true fanship.”

You wouldn't believe my story lol. I was going to Korea from Singapore, and they were just done with a concert. so we were on the same plane and I boarded late so I caught all of them (my mum actually noticed them as "Rly tall well dressed girls"). I ran up to business class from my seat and got a quick autograph (UEE was the only one standing up omg so tall) and I took a quick glance at Gahee listening to her mp3, didn't get to see Lizzy or anything was such a blur ;_;

That's true. I wasn't too nervous to talk, but I don't like rejection. Most idols don't like photos, so I don't bother asking. I go for what's more likely. I'm not into autographs either. I got one from Seungho, just because he was signing for another girl, so I figured whatevs. :P

Narsha took a photo tho. Not with me, but with a group of girls. Her managers were rough too, shoving them into the frame.

I bought the discounted Paradise with autographs (that tbh look crappy, I can imagine their pain though), but I practically paid nothing for the autographs and I think it's actually cheaper than the CD's normal price, so.
