With the recent news that Dalmatian's Day Day has left the group for personal reasons, the new member of the team has been revealed on May 8th.
On May 8th through a press release, Dalmatian's agency said, "The existing member Day Day has left the group due to personal reasons, the new member to join the group in their upcoming activities is Simon."
Simon's father is Korean and his mother is Japanese, and he is also known to be fluent in English, making his language-knowledge count to three. He is also versatile in rapping, singing and dancing.
The new member was quoted saying, "It has been a lifelong dream of mine to have a music education in Korea. I learned about the Korean culture through my father. I haven't forgotten my roots. It's an honor to be a Dalmatian member. I will hone my skills to give you the best."
Simon will join Dalmatian leader Inati, main vocalist Jeesu, lead vocals Daniel, and vocalist Youngwon. Simon's vocal and rapping abilities will help the group build a new look.
After a year and 3 months of hiatus since their last release, Dalmatian is set to release their 2nd mini-album, "State of Emergency." It has been known that the members were directly involved in the making and production of this album, taking the helm at writing, composing, and producing the tracks, working hard to make this the perfect album for fans who have waited for them for so long.
