Girls’ Generation sub-unit Taetiseo has debuted on Billboard’s 200.
On May 3rd, Billboard published the new weekly charts for the U.S. Billboard 200. On this chart, Taetiseo’s ‘Twinkle‘ charted at number 126. This record is significant in that the Billboard 200 is known as the definitive chart for album sales in the United States.
In the K-Pop history, BoA previously ranked at #127 on the Billboard Top 200 while BigBang’s ‘Alive’ was at #150. This means SNSD’s TaeTiSeo has written another new record, ranking the highest among all K-Pop artists…….
In Korea the album gained an ‘all-kill’ on real-time music charts minutes after its release.
According to Hanteo Chart on May 3rd, the mini-album sales hit number 1 for the day May 2nd and also the real-time digital album sale.
As you are reading this, TaeTiSeo’s ‘Twinkle’ is continuing to dominate the Korean charts, maintaining #1on the daily charts; Mnet, Bugs, Olleh Music, Naver Music and other various online music charts.

Date: 2012-05-04 04:13 am (UTC)I think they almost nailed Twinkle relative to the studio version except one or two parts. Tiffany was amazing in Baby Steps whereas Taeyeon and Seohyun could have done better though they still delivered.
