KARA Jiyoung‘s “meat dress” has recently become a hot topic.

On April 20th, TokyoTV‘s new drama ‘Rainbow Rose‘ released a still of Jiyoung wearing a floral pattern dress that looked a little too close to a cut of raw marbled meat. The maknae of KARA is shown wearing the unique dress with various cups and plates attached.

This concept is receiving further interest for following the meat dress that Lady Gaga has worn in the past.

Fans commented, “This is definitely Lady Gaga’s fashion,” “What could the concept have been for her to wear such a dress?” and “The dress suits her well.”

KARA’s Jiyoung is currently acting in ‘Rainbow Rose’ as Han Yoo Ri, a college student majoring in fashion design.

I have nothing against Lady Gaga or her fashion sense but her meat dress are one of the f**ked up things I've ever seen in my life. Maybe it's cultural difference...? Idk but I'm sure glad Jiyoung wasn't wearing a real meat dress!

Yup! Well, I've been to other countries than my own for work so I've learned to accept other people's culture instead of rejecting it.

But the meat dress Lady Gaga wore? No, just no. I've been taught from childhood that I should give proper respect to all animals (usually cows and chickens) since we have to kill them for the meat they provided. Their meat is used for food only, not for a f**king dress! But hey! That's just me. Maybe for some other people, it's okay but me? No, thank you very much.
