Korean Uniform for London Olympics Unveiled

The Korean national team's official uniform for 2012 London Summer Olympics was unveiled at the National Training Center in Taeneung, Seoul on Monday.

The Olympics open in London on July 27.

The uniform was made by FILA, an official sponsor of the Korean Olympic Committee, based on the "taegeuk" (yin-yang) pattern of the national flag. It also incorporates "dancheong" (traditional multicolored paintwork on wooden buildings), a symbol of the traditional beauty of Korea.

Outfits for the opening and closing ceremonies were made by Cheil Industries. The Olympic Committee says it aims to recall the 1948 Olympics, the first in which Korea participated under its own flag after liberation from Japanese colonial rule.

I can't get over the thought that the something about the games won't turn out to be a huge embarrassment...I'm expecting Boris Johnson to have something to do with it...either that or someone will realise that a venue hasn't passed adequate health and safety tests for it to be used etc....*cringes in pre-emptive embarrassment*

Everytime I wonder if it'll be okay I remember the fiasco of Heathrow. Basically the opening ceremony is going to be incredibly lame, we all know it, we're good at giving money like chumps for half assed efforts. But the games should go okay enough, I hope. London will suck though, all those people, it's gonna be a mess, esp the Underground. Every little thing leads to some sort of gridlock.

I can't wait for gymnastics though, it's really the best thing about the Olympics.

I know how you feel :/ Dreading the potential fails that may come, it could be something huge, like the venues not being up to scratch, or even just something like the transport links being lousy (omg, I'm gonna hate being on the tube during that time -___-)... either way, I can't help but feel pessimistic.

Uniforms look cute but red white and blue sorta like the ...... idk Korean uni looks American.
I take that back I just pulled up America's uniforms, it's like a weekend in the Hamptons for us. ugh well done Korea.
