Alabama, the French/Colombian rapper who plagiarized TOP's turn it up finally changed the title of his youtube clip as a "Remix" and updated the description.

je ne comprend pas la méchanceté de toutes ces personnes qui vomissent leur haine , juste pour un morceau de musique.D'autant plus que c'est un artiste que j'aime beaucoup si j'ai tourné ce clip c'est parce que j'ai kiffé ce morceau et j'ai voulu lui rendre hommage en le faisant a ma manière . En aucune manière j'ai voulu faire croire que ce morceau était a moi ,si je n'ai pas mis de tag c'est parce qu'il était évident pour moi que les gens reconnaitraient ce morceau.Maintenant pour les personnes sans cerveaux qui hurlent a tort sans même essayer de comprendre ma démarche je leur dit "PEACE AND KEEP COOL".

je ne me fait aucun argent avec cette chanson je l'ai faite pour m'amuser je ne suis pas un professionnel du show business comme beaucoup de rappeur amateur je ne suis pas musicien et donc je me sert d 'instrus d'autre artiste pour poser mes paroles dessus.
quand je parle de faire un album ce n'est qu'un projet et s'il devait ce faire avec cette chanson dessus j'en demanderai les droits a la personne concerné. pour ce qui est de la qualité du clip je l'ai fait avec mes modeste moyens ,pour tous ceux qui le critique faite en autant après on discutera c'est facile de critiquer quand on ne fait rien.
pour tous ceux qui croient que je n'écoute que du rap ils se trompent je connait vraiment TOP qui est un artiste connu contrairement a ce qu'en pense quelques un .les VIP n'ont pas le monopole de cet artiste qui doit surement être déçus par eux avec les insultes proférées a mon encontre qui plus est des insultes raciste et oui je suis colombien et fière de l'être .
Vous dites que ce sont des excuse bidon ,détrompez-vous ce ne sont pas des excuses mais juste une mise au point car je n'ai pas a m'excuser devant des personnes qui m'insultent et me crache dessus. Vous devriez vous battre ainsi pour des cause bien plus importante comme la faim et la misère dans le monde ou pour l'environnement de notre planète qui en a bien besoin.
Vous les VIP vous me parlé de respect de l'artiste croyez-vous vraiment que vous le faite en vous comportant ainsi ...je ne le croit pas,et lui non plus je pense.

is stating that he never claimed ownership of the track and it was obvious to him that listeners would recognize it. This is where I smell BS.

He goes on to say he's not making money from it and that if he does release the track on an album in the future, he will do it legally.

He did get a lot of hateful comments but I don't see racist anti-colombian comments, but I didn't take the time to read them all.

Well I'm French and I understand what this guy tried to say, he was wrong in the first place because he used TOP's song w/o having the rights but VIPs literally slaughterred him with their hateful comments, bringing up the fact that he was colombian and less important than TOP who's korean (he doesn't say that, but I read a handful of comments like that).
I doubt the fact that he's a real TOP's fan but I think VIPs went overboard, it's ridiculous to be so hateful. I understand his POV, some arguments were out of line. Plus he's not a pro, so it's more like a cover than a remix, he doesn't sell that (who would buy it anyway?) he's clearly an amateur. You failed on this one VIPs, you can come and insult me but the comments on youtube were fucking racist that is.

Oh~ I see, now the picture is more clear. I'm not a fan of Big Bang, so I don't know what is happening in their fandom. But considering that we in k-pop fandom, where people easily overreact, the VIPs reaction is not surprising. It's upsetting that their comment turned out so hateful and also racist which is more upsetting. Not good image for every fandom.

There's a comment about him not claiming the ownership of the track, so I agree with you about cover part. Many people make a cover and remix on different songs, sometime it's good, sometime it's bad. But I have never thought that it can turn out into something like this.

Some VIPs could've handled it better. There was no reason to bring up his race into it, it just gave him ammo he didn't deserve. I don't care if he made money off of it or not, he could've avoided the whole debacle by giving credit from the beginning. Not doing so made him look shady. "I don't understand the nastiness of all the people who throw up their hate on me, just for a piece of music. Even more because he's an artist that I really love, if I have made this clip it's because I've liked this piece and I wanted to pay him an hommage, my way. Just one last thing:
I didn't earn any money with this song, I did it to entertain myself, I am not a professional in the show business. Like many other amateur rappers I am not a musician, I use other people's instrumentals on which I lay my own lyrics.
When I speak about making an album it's nothing more than a project and if I were to actually make it with this song in it, I'd ask for the rights to the concerned party. *I don't get the gist of a sentence about the videoclip*
For all the people who believe that I don't listen to anything apart from rap, they are very much wrong. I really know TOP, who's a known artist, no matter what other people might think. VIPs don't have a monopoly over this artist who must be really upset with them over the insults thrown at me [??? mentions he was insulted with racist comments and that yes, he is colombian and proud to be].
You say that these are cheap excuses. Get real, these are not excuses, but facts. I don't have to apologize to people who insult me and spit on me. You should fight for more important matters as world hunger/poverty, or environment which are in greater need.
