After a successful year following their debut in South Korea last year, Boyfriend will finally be making their entrance into Japan this year. Boyfriend is already set to release a special album in Japan on June 6th prior to holding their debut showcase at the end of the month.

According to Starship Entertainment, Boyfriend has already signed an exclusive contract with top Japanese agency, Bing, who have commented that they decided to promote the group after seeing the group's luxurious look and modern style. Bing is also known for housing Japanese artists B'z and Kuraki Mai.

Meanwhile, Boyfriend will have their showcase take place at the Nippon Budokan in Tokyo, and are set to perform in front of 10,000 fans on June 30th.

Boyfriend has 10,000 fans? Really? Are they sure? Not hating but I mean that's alot for a nugu group that released rather poor songs.

But they sold 21,106 last year. However I doubt all their Korean fans will also be flocking over.

I really dig Boyfriend, but kind of have to agree. They're not bad, but they didn't get a lot of GREAT songs. :/ I think their W Academy helped to garner them some interest and they were shown to have a lot of international fans, but still. 10,000 Wooor. All the power to them, though! Maybe after this, Starship can get them some better songs.

Cries I have been waiting for a comeback for so long.
I hope they are original Japanese songs and not bullshit k-pop reprods.

I will be surprised if they are original songs, but crossing my fingers anyway, cos those babies could use some new/more/better songs.

Also I think rerecording in Japanese is such a cheap rip off :((
