
"Superstar K3" contestant Kim Youngil will be making his debut along with a new boy group under the agency B2O Entertainment (Be The One Entertainment) this October, and is currently working as a trainee.
Kim Youngil auditioned for "Superstar K3" in Gwangju with the song, "I'll Be There" by Billy Porter, in front of the judges Kim Wansun, Tasha, and Wheesung. He made it to the "Super Week" rounds of the auditions, which lasted 3-days, however, was later eliminated.
Now it has been revealed that Kim Youngil has been taken in as a trainee and is preparing hard for his upcoming debut in October as part of a boy group. The whole process will be broadcasted live in real-time through AfricaTV "btotv" and USTREAM "btolive."
The CEO of B2O Entertainment, Lee Woojae, said, "Kim Youngil's voice is very colorful and soft, but filled with emotions. His song interpretation skills is expected to play a very important role to the team."
