That makes 23 since the TONE tour began! I've been really impressed with and liking TVXQ!'s performances of songs both new and old. They give it their all everytime.
I'm not really a TVXQ fan...him crying is a big deal because he promised not to until he felt he had achieved success, is that right? I didn't get it at first, KPop is full of crybabies (bless 'em) so it didn't seem like a huge thing....
yunho is notorious in the fandom for not letting himself cry and hiding a lot of his emotions behind a thick wall.
he promised his grandfather that he won't cry onstage until he felt he reached the top, and for the past 8-9 years, he really hasn't, even when the rest of his members broke down. :) i believe fans have never seen him cry beyond the v. v. occasional teary eyes.
fans also know that he suffered roughly a year of depression after the lawsuit went down. changmin and his korean/japanese comeback has shown that he's been under a lot of stress, worrying about whether they'd be welcomed back, especially because he has seen a lot of hatred due to his decision to stay with sme.
i think a lot of fans see him crying as a breaking down of his walls + finally letting everything he's dammed up for so many years go, and that's why it's such a big thing for cassiopeia. :)
i really agree, our flawless leader-ssi ;__; but he did kinda tear up during their FITB concert though. not cry, but there were kinda tears. lol. changmin on the other hand, let everything go when they won the MKMF award. lol
also I recall him asking whether he is loved or not (forgot where) it really teared up my heart. he continuously asking such. he's pretty insecure after lawsuit yet he hides it perfectly. and that day, finally he cries :')
indeed. now he is at his highest point of success even with all those shitty things happened after their comeback. yes k-pop is full of crybabies. but Yunho is far from one. the duo TVXQ right now are members that known for never letting any tears fall out in public. imagine how it is when he finally cry after 8 and a half years :)
He hasn't really cried. His eyes were teary but his tears didn't fall down. He still held it back in the end, makes me wonder if there is anything can make him cry so damn hard on stages. It seems to me that even he himself hadn't expect that he would break into tears, so he still instinctively tried to keep it from falling. His face showed his natural way of holding back the tears, which I have seen many times before but still have always been moved by it.
I teared up when his voice cracked while talking and with the tears in his eyes and omg ... Just ugh. He tried so hard not to cry and this is the closes thing in 8/9 years we get to see of him this close to crying :(
i'm with you OP, i really want to see the rest of this now. i dont think i've ever watched a full concert before exo's showcases, but this i really really want to see

But I feel like Yunho didnt really cried cause for someone who hasnt cried for so long, they'd usually just break down and it'd be unstoppable (like L when he read his mom's letter ;;) or maybe he really did forget how to cry?
Sounding and looking amazing as always, they're really awesome...and Yunho brought tears to my eyes too getting emotional like that. Makes me want to give him a great big hug. Changmin can join in too cos his arms look like they'd give a great one!
While I'm infinitely grateful to have been part of the arena tour, I wish I could have attended the dome tour too. Yunho and Changmin are so amazing! And I miss the feeling of cheering for them along with BigEast. ;~; I can't wait for the concert dvd!
