Following Hyoyeon, Girls’ Generation member Taeyeon has fallen victim to plastic surgery rumors.

The rumors surfaced after the April 14th broadcast of MBC‘s ‘Music Core‘ showed the singer appearing somewhat different than before. Netizens have been claiming that her nose bridge seemed to be taller and her jaw line seemed to be more sleek. They immediately captured screen shots of the singer and uploaded them onto online community sites with captions that read, “Past photos of Taeyeon to the present”.

However, SM Entertainment has stepped forward and slammed all plastic surgery rumors regarding the Girls’ Generation member. On April 16th, a representative of their agency spoke with Star News stating, “We find it absurd that these rumors have surfaced when they are currently busy with their schedules.”

Taeyeon was unable to emcee the April 7th episode of ‘Music Core’ due to her participation in the recording of MBC’s ‘2012 Thailand Hallyu Concert‘ at the Rachamankha stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

I'm not even a fan of hers, but I don't see it. I see exhaustion+ weight lost- photoshop & super pale make up . Besides, comparing tv caps to real life, I just don't know. The HD on my tv makes everyone look like they lost 10kg. (Which really really bothers me)

she liked that tragic black hair with white tips hairstyle tho lol, dyeing her hair apparently really wrecked it so she asked to keep it short and natural for a bit. and then she went and dyed it again smh idek anymore. and it's not like she has great personal style either lol. what bothers me the most is how her face is like ten times paler than the rest of her (much as she probably likes it, ahem) in the bottom right pic, and it isn't just her, it happens to all korean celebs because they're all probably wearing bb cream and with it's high spf content, it comes off terribly in reaction to all the camera flashes on the red carpet. i know they're all obsessed with looking like andres iniesta and bb cream being a korean product, but the red carpet is not going to make you tan and even if mufe hd foundation isn't korean at least it's going to make them look a lot better, less sallow. for some reason korean celeb makeup artists don't seem to get that.

people get so defensive about ps rumors. Like if you don't treat it as a big deal no one else will. It just irks me when people who get it done don't admit to it, b/c then it starts to fuck with beauty standards and what kids think they should look like/what they are compared up to.
