To express myself better I'm going to write in banmal and I ask for your understanding..

Hi!!!!!!! Seems like it's been quite a while since I've been able to leave a message for the fans.
Even so, you shouldn't think that I don't visit here often! In fact this is the very first place I visit when I use the computer..ㅋㅋ!!
In just 2-3 hours it'll have been 1 year... 1 year after debut..... it's already been 1 year.... 1 year......
It feels like a dream, really. It was but a year ago that we were overwhelmed and made our first debut stage in a music program..
And now we have all these BBCs behind us cheering for us and loving us!!!!!!!!!!!!
We experienced lots of good things, and of course there were bad things as well but
I always pass my days with the feeling of gratitude in me. It's been like that up until this point, and will surely remain from now onward.
You were the ones who have made me feel this thankful.
Someone who likes me does give me strength, that's for sure,
But at least to Block B, at least to me, it's like BBC has been more than just that.. (uh... ugh...embarrassing...)
The past year has been so vivid in my mind..
And in those vivid memories we were always with you, and that makes me happier.
In my own way I tried to express myself to you guys but there were times when it wouldn't come out right..
But still our goddess BBCs will understand right?..ㅋ..ㅋㅋBBC goddesses..!!
You guys have become one of the few I consider dear to me...
I won't disappoint you. I won't go anywhere and will stay beside you so you guys promise me the same thing!!!
No matter what, always be with us. Support us.
Because you are my strength. With you here I can gain strength!!!!
Thank you so much for congratulating Block B as we celebrate our first year.
Even after 1, 2, 3 years, and even when we have our 2nd, 3rd year anniversary
I hope that I will be able to write here in this place, to you, the very same people, and that we can still be happy together.

it's been a weird year. both eventful and uneventful. but it's been great being a block b fan.

there's been so many ups and downs and loop-de-loops in this fandom that it feels like one of those roller-coaster rides, but at the end you can't help loving it and you want to ride it over and over again until you throw up or black out. My grades have gone down (LOL), but I've met so many wonderful people (like you ♥) and I've made so many new friends that I know I'm going to have for a long time.
God, it's so emotional ;;;;; I lovehate this fandom and group so much

I want to know whose cereal BNS pissed in to warrant the treatment Block B has received. I recently became a fan and after going through all the old articles I don't understand why their songs get banned and why they get the shit end of the stick on music shows.

I guess their brand just isn't what sells in Korea. :/

They're poorly managed, they're not the pretty faces typical group (exclude B-bomb and Jaehyo for this one), they act wild and 'provocative', their music genre isn't the most popular out there, they don't have lots of money to secure nice slots in music shows, they are associated with Cho PD, they got their share of 'scandals' (Yukwon's fan bracelet, B1A4's soy chicken, Thailand interview) and other things I'm forgetting. Pick your favourite!

But I must say that after the latest incident, their fanclub gained ~24,000 new members. I don't know if it's just curious people or supporters tho. It's too bad they had to cut promotions short for Nanrina, because they were finally starting to catch people's eye.

Oh god, the soy chicken "scandal" was one of the dumbest things I've ever read in my life. I never paid much attention to them before partially because they're not popular on here and they were always called Flop B. Then again I love MBLAQ so I have a soft spot for the underdog. :p The Thailand wank is what turned me into a fan. They screwed up but actually apologized and showed remorse. People were baying for their blood and it was just ridiculous. I blame their management for not reigning them in sooner.

I'm glad they gained so many new fan club members, clearly they caught a lot of people's attention. I guess their best bet is to build a loyal (albeit small) fan base in Korea and show overseas fans some love? I'm still new but do they have a lot more fans outside Korea? I would imagine their genre would sell better there anyways. I know I certainly enjoy it.
