Honor Society and Wonder Girls also added support. I caught the latter, a girl group from South Korea, as they “sang” one of their songs. I’m not sure they needed the head sets until they pimped their new single after they performed it.

I don't know what the actual meaning behind writing like that, but I get the feel of them either lipsyncing or sounded horrible live, so it couldn't be considered singing. I dunno really.. confused. LOL
