TVXQ’s Tokyo Dome concert tickets sell out within 30 seconds

TVXQ has once again evidenced their immense popularity in Japan.

The group is planning to hold performances for their Japanese fans at the Tokyo Dome from April 14th to the 16th. The tickets went on sale for the public on April 1st at 10 a.m. (local time) and within 30 seconds, all the seats had completely sold out. Additionally the tickets for their Osaka Kyocera Dome concerts, which will be held from April 21st through the 23rd, also sold out in a mere two minutes.

The Tokyo Dome and Kyocera Dome seat 55,000, and 36,477 respectively. With the three concert dates at each location, the total seats at each location amount to 165,000 and 109,431, respectively.

In addition, the ticket reservations over the phone also sold out, leading to a ticket war between the fans. The tickets that originally sold for 8,500 to 9,500 Yen, has been marked up to 10 times the amount, and is being bought by fans at 80,000 Yen.

Although the group has already added additional dates to their concerts, fans are still desperately requesting for even more dates.

I'm quite excited to see the setlist for their dome concerts. :D I hope they add more perfs/videos. ^^ The arena tour was amazing so I bet the dome tour will be even more awesome!

Yeah, I wonder if the set list will change too. I hope it isn't too late for 'Winter Rose'. Hats and shoes off to them if they add 'One More Thing' and pull it off without tearing anything.

i requested for winter rose and/or one more thing as "the song i hope to hear" on the survey form they handed out at the concert.

i know they (concert producers and the duo) looked at these and made changes according to audience feedback, so i hope i am not the only one who requested for these two songs to be sang on future dates and that they do add these songs. :)

my feedback forms are at home with me. i read somewhere there's an english version but i don't think i saw any at niigata venue after the show over.

i do hope they will perform winter rose. i'm rather disappointed they didn't sing this song but enough difficult songs to sing for changmin's poor stamina sake ^^;

no dome shows for me this year (again) but i will try to attend one next year just for the experience, i like smaller venue better. air asia is flying to haneda 7 days a week from april 2012 so there would be no problem to plan the trip next year :D

80,000 Yen per ticket? It's like buying tickets for high class small venue concert hall. As much as the fans are crazy to see the boys, paying 80,000 Yen for a big venue like Tokyo Dome is not exactly worth it -- I mean, you can only see the boys as big as your finger. :/

80k would probably be for arena or first row stands seating, but idk where this article is getting its numbers from, there's a ton of tickets on ticket.co.jp for less than 20k and i don't see any for 80k. same deal on yahoo.co.jp. maybe they're selling to korean fans or in private messageboards, but the article makes it sound like there are no reasonable tickets available.

i have seen tickets priced as high as 50-60k for some of the arena venues on ticket.co.jp, but whether those were successfully transacted i wouldnt know. :)

they could be referring to final auction prices, especially for coveted seats.
i think there was a recent article where someone paid over 100k for a seat at the osaka venue, iirc.
