He's not really in the army, like active service in the barracks and all. He's doing public service, which is basically a desk job in a government office. Recently, he's been assigned to be a DJ for one of the army's radio stations.

Heechul baby <3 I love him. He's like the only member of Super Junior I adore (altho I dont know half of them so lol) what a cutie. I love his role in the military is being entertaining, cause thats certainly what he does best. i cant imagine princess heechul with a gun and in camo anyway, bless i get the feeling he would have been terrible at it and kind of miserable. i guess that rod in his leg did him some good.

He is assigned to public service due to a permanent leg injury from his big car crash a few years back which makes him ineligible for active service Pushes paper in a government office most of the week. Does the lunchtime show on his office's online radio station on Fridays.
