(Oricon Daily Chart for March 27)
Family groups Big Bang and 2NE1 have ranked high in Oricon for their newly-released Japanese albums. BIGBANG's Alive took the 2nd place on the Oricon chart, while 2NE1's Collection was at number 4.
When the two albums were released on the same day, they captured the top spots of Oricon which proves their popularity in Japan. Big Bang's Japanese new album was released today while their domestic album released last month is still enjoying much love from people. In the Japanese album, two new songs 'Ego' and 'Feeling' were added.
In particular, the new songs 'Feeling' and 'Ego' which have never been released before have attracted attention. Also, 'Feeling' is the opening theme song for the animation 'Transformer Prime', which will be aired in Japan. This is the collaboration work among G-Dragon, T.O.P and the international artist, 'Boys Noize'.
2NE1 have brought out a new feeling by singing the master piece of Madonna 'Like a virgin', and a new remix of 'She's So (Outta Control), a song which is included in the album of Japanese Electronic Artist. Moreover, before their album was officially released, they have released their songs 'Like A virgin', 'scream' and 'love is ouch' through green tea, travel agencies,etc
After the release of the albums on 31st, on 1st of April, both groups will perform in 'Spring Grove' together in Kobe. This is the largest music festival held in Japan. Big Bang will perform with world-class artists 'LMFAO' and 'David Guetta', etc.
Big Bang has released the schedule of '2012 Big Bang Alive Tour In Japan' in five regions of Japan (Nagoya, Yokohama, Osaka, Saitama and Fukuoka). Even before the opening of the official sale of the concert tickets, some of them have already been sold out which shows their popularity in Japan.
